Brian

"Are you hungry?" Kyle asked, I shook my head. "Brian, you haven't eaten anything since you came here." Kyle sighed in defeat. "You need to eat or you won't get better." He said, his tone thick and heavy with concern.

I flashed him a sad smile, "Maybe next time?" I asked unsurely. I didn't have any appetite for anything.

Usually Aaron fed me so he can make sure that I at least ate something even though I didn't feel like eating.

His measures were getting quite interesting, with him feeding me yoghurt through kisses. It was albeit messy but desperate issues called for desperate measures.

Kyle shook his head before making his was out of my room. I worried him and I hated it.

Kyle already had a lot on his shoulders being the Luna of Ian's pack. He didn't need me to add on to the burden that was already crushing him.

Seeing him so worried over my deteriorating state made my heart sink with guilt and hopelessness.

I knew that this wasn't my fault, that this was out of my control but I couldn't help but feel so responsible.

"You seem to be healthy from what I'm picking up." Dr Angela said, frowning in confusion and dragging me out of my thoughts.

Aaron had suggested that I come visit Ian's pack for a while following what happened with Greg.

I still had no recollection of what exactly happened with Greg, Aaron only telling me that he and Greg fought and then going on a lengthy rant about how Greg was a selfish brat who didn't deserve to breathe the same air as me.

Gregory had an indefinite ban on getting near me with the looming threat of Aaron ending his life hanging above his head.

It was a mess. One that I was sure I wanted to know how it began. My love life was a spiralling mess that I had no control over.

So here I was, in my room with Dr Angela giving me a check up following Kyle insisting that she does so for my sake. I had been too weak to protest and let him do as he pleased.

It was really not worth arguing with Kyle over my health. He was scary when he didn't get his way especially when it came to something that was for my wellbeing.

He was older than me, he was my parent therefore he knew better than I did. I didn't argue with him, I never did.

Second guessing Kyle was the worst thing I could do. He'd get Ian on his side and they'd gang up on me. Lengthy lectures from parents are never the best.

"Have you been exposed to poisoning lately?" Dr Angela asked. "Why? Should I be worried?" I asked, panic beginning to cloud my head.

Dr Angela's hunches weren't one to be taken lightly as they were never wrong. With her expertise and genius, it was always ten outta ten.

"No." She said, narrowing her eyes in thought. "Your symptoms point to the work of poisoning." She begun, taking a look at her chart once again.

"But I can't seem to detect anything. There's no trace of anything in your blood." She said flipping through the many notes she had taken throughout the check up.

"You just need to rest. Don't worry about it, you will be fine." She said, smiling at me softly.

"I have a question." I begun with a bite of my lip. She nodded, giving me her undivided attention.

"Whenever I am with my mate, I feel needy and whiny like I am an Omega. I feel the need to 'please my Alpha'." I said, my tan cheeks heating up.

"Sounds like your personality is breaking. It could be the work of the poison. I am going to run more tests and get to the bottom of this. Don't panic just yet." She said with a soft smile.
