Chapter 1

Chapter 1:

Andrew's POV:

I sat and waited patiently for my mate for close to seventy years now. Werewolves were immortal, we did not age. However my mate was a legendary creature known as a Snow elf. We found her when her parents were killed by demons. My alpha and his mate took her in and raised her as their own.

She was four at the time and I had to wait until she was eighteen until I could fully be with her. Yes that might be weird to some people but I haven't been a huge role model in her life. With the alpha having many new born children I was working on paper work. But I did watch her grow, I watched her grow into a beautiful woman.

Her name was Ella and she was smart and beautiful. Her mother was the queen of Snow elves named Eleanor but both her and her husband were killed so now the throne was reserved for Ella. About a couple days before her eighteenth birthday we received some news from the human world. In a couple of days I was allowed to be with her.

"Oh my God!" She yelled from the kitchen. We all pooled in, her twelve year old brothers and sister came in as well.

"What is wrong?" Her dad asked.

"I got accepted to study sociology at the university in Australia." She grinned holding up her acceptance papers. For a moment my heart dropped and I swore I stopped breathing.

"That's great honey." Brooklyn smiled rubbing her back and Ryder folded his arms proudly. I frowned and left the room swiftly and Ryder followed me.

"Is Andy alright?" I heard her ask.

"He will be alright." Brooklyn assured. I stormed outside to the garden and went right to the stone wall and literally shoved my fist through the whole wall.

"You may be older than me but I will always treat you like my little brother." Ryder said.

"I don't get it. Since I turned eighteen I have been searching and now that she is here I still can't have her and now she is going to leave me again." I growled shoving my fist through the wall again.

"I know but just think. She is going to go and experience the human world and get her masters in sociology. She will be an educated, smart young woman when she returns."

"Five years though." I sighed feeling weak in my knees.

"I know. Just remember it's for her." He said patting my shoulder.

"Make sure she keeps her hair down." I smirked thinking about her pointed ears.

I walked back inside to find her on her laptop and looking up the university.

"I already accepted." She said sensing my presence behind her.

"Are you excited?" I asked.

"A little nervous to be honest. I haven't been far away from mom and dad for long and now I will be gone for five years."

"What about the summer?" I asked.

"I will be staying there and doing some charity work amongst the humans."

"For fuck sakes." I sighed pinching the bridge of my nose.

"Are you alright?" She asked curiously.

"Yea. I am just going to miss you." I said.

"Aww, Andy." She said wrapping her arms tightly around my neck and I smiled.

"I'm going to miss you too." She said kissing my cheek and my body lit on fire.

"I will be back before you know it." She smiled.

Boy, was that a lie.
