Chapter 8
Brooklyn's POV:
"Brooklyn. Enough." Ryder said as we stepped inside. He stormed into his office and I stood in the hallway with my arms crossed. I looked towards the staircase where Andrew stood with his hands in his pockets smirking.
"Andrew where is lady Ella?" Clarence asked.
"She's resting." He said smirking and I shook my head.
"Well she needs to wake up." He said going up the stairs but Andrew stopped him.
"Trust me...she needs rest." He said continuing to smirk. Clarence stared at him oddly but listened and walked away.
"I hope you didn't hurt her." I said.
"She's fine. Just not a lot stamina because she isn't a werewolf." He laughed. I shook my head and looked at the floor.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Ryder is being an asshole as usual." I sighed going to sit on the stairs with my head in my hands.
"Why?" He asked.
"It's about Spencer." I began when the door opened and in walked Spencer.
"What's about me?" He asked confused.
"Nothing, baby." I said putting my hair behind my ear. He frowned but closed the door and took off his shoes.
"Well I need to talk to you." He said. Andrew nodded and went towards Ryder's office.
"What's up, darling?" I asked clasping my hands together and staring at him. He was nervous and was fidgeting. He kept scratching the back of his hair.
"Spence. You can tell me anything-" I began.
"My mate is Dean Storm." He said quickly. I stopped and stared at him as he looked away ashamed.
"Why are you embarrassed to tell me that, darling?" I asked.
"Because I know you and dad are disappointed in me." He said and I sighed upset. Hearing your child think you are disappointed in them is the worst feeling ever.
"Spencer. Your father and I would never be disappointed in you. We are so proud of everything you accomplished."
"I won't be able to have kids or anything." He said sadly.
"There are surrogates Spence. There is also adoption for children abandoned by rogues." I said standing up. Spencer was over six feet tall compared to my five, seven height.
"Come here." I ordered holding his head to my shoulder.
"When you were just born you were sick, your little lungs weren't developed so for a couple days straight I had to do kangaroo care with you, and you loved it so much that you always wanted to lay on my chest and play with my hair. You were always so quiet. I love you so much no matter what." I said. I pulled away and dusted off his uniform.
"Go get cleaned up alright." I said lightly touching his cheek. He nodded and went upstairs. I turned to the kitchen and there stood Connor, Jax, Tess and Ryan.
"You will not treat your brother any differently, you hear me?" I asked and they all nodded.
"Of course." Tessa said determined. I nodded and stormed into Ryder's office where Andrew was talking to him.
"Dean Storm." I said.
"What about him?" He asked.
"That is your sons' mate." I said and he sighed putting down his papers.
"Listen to me." I said and that gained their attention.
"That is our little boy. If you have a problem with what sex he prefers then I will leave. I love him, we created him and he is perfect in every single way like our other children. I will always love him and you better love him to." I said angrily.
"Of course I love him. He is my son Brooklyn." He said.
"Then why can't you accept that he is slightly different?" I asked.
"Because it's just new to me." He said ashamed and I sighed.
"Ryder, there is a small population of gay werewolves and our son joins them. He is no different in any way." I said.
"I know and I have to learn to accept that." He vowed and I exhaled happily.
"Good." I approved.
"When is he bringing this boy over?" He asked.
"I'm not sure." I said happily leaving his office.
