Things between Justin and I were going great. I only had one day left before heading to Paris for the shoot. No one, except for Jev and Stella, knew that I was back, so that meant more time for Justin and I until I was gone again.

Thinking we'd have a whole day to ourselves, we were wrong.

Vallerie texted Justin to be at Jev's place for the wedding preparations. Apparently she needed the full force from the guys since today was filled with heavy lifting of some props and designs.

"Your best friend is a pain. I don't want to go." Justin whines, throwing his phone on the couch. "You leave tomorrow and I just want to spend time with you."

He was such a cute baby. "I'll come along. That way we can spend time together but not together, together, if you know what I mean."

A light of hope reflected on his face but it instantly faded. "They're going to be suspicious why we'll be arriving at the same time and they don't know that you're home again. Won't it bother you?"

"I'll think of something. Don't worry about it. Let's go?" My positivity surprised Justin. Things were just starting to work out between us. I didn't want anything to ruin it.

The drive to Jev's took less than 10 minutes. As expected, everyone was in the backyard, getting started on some designs. Justin suggested I walked in first so that it wouldn't draw much attention to him once he sneaks in.

"Vi? Oh my gosh!" Vallerie was the first to notice me as she runs towards my direction, crushing me into a hug.

"You're choking me."

"I'm sorry." She quickly apologizes. "What are you doing here? I thought you'd be in New York. Jev and Stella mentioned you were taking a flight from there."

"I was but since I had a day before starting work, I figured it'd be nice to spend time with you guys." Fingers crossed, I hoped she bought my excuse.

"Well, we're not doing much except cut out materials and stuff. The boys are doing all the heavy lifting today so don't think about getting tired."

Assuring her, I say, "I'm fine Val. Where do we start?"

With the greetings and welcome backs done from all the guys, I followed Vallerie to the tables which had all the art materials.

Justin was no where to be seen for about 30 minutes until him and Ryan walked into the garden carrying a pillar to the front. None of the boys noticed which I was thankful for but I wished I could say the same for Vallerie. She noticed him instantly once the pillar was off their hands.

"When did you get here?" She questioned him.

"Not long. Ryan met me in the back and showed me where the stuff was. I thought you might want me to get to work immediately." Justin reasons.

Vallerie seem to have bought his excused as she nodded.

Gosh, this sneaking around thing was a pain.

The day went by as planned. Justin would constantly sneak around glances towards me, sending out flirty winks which made me feel giddy like when we were in high school but I wasn't complaining.

"I told you we could pull this off." Justin suddenly appears behind, whispering to my ears.

We were the only ones left cleaning up the backyard while everyone else went inside the house to help set up dinner.

"Geeze, stop creeping up on me. Someone might see us." I pushed him away playfully, taking a few steps back to keep a distance.

That didn't stop him. He simply came back closer and wrapped his arms around my waist. "They're inside the house. No one is coming out anytime soon."
