The St-Pierre family wasn't blood related to me but ever since Justin left and their son took care of me, they never treated me like an outsider.

Winona and Daniel were the best parents anyone could have and their religious upbringing had a lot to do with it. Daniel has been a pastor at a church in town for as long as I could remember and Winona looks after the catering when it comes to the church events.

They were the parents that filled up the void of my own and appreciated that they loved me despite what their family had to go through after Justin.

Paul, Phoebe and I came back home in time for dinner after an afternoon of playing basketball.

It's all we've been doing since Paul and I came home to visit his parents. Having meals with the family, movie nights, going grocery shopping, playing video games and playing sports was the routine we've been going around in.

Don't get me wrong, I loved spending time with the family but it's been a routine for the past week and I'd rather be doing something else.

It's a good thing Justin calls me and saves me from my boredom as much as time allows.

Speaking of, his incoming call saves me so I excuse myself and run to the backyard to answer.

"Hi babe." My smile beams when I tap on the answer button.

"Your hero is here. I know." Justin laughs. "How's your day?"

"Same old. I love Paul but dude, I'm dying."

"What's the sport for today?"

"Basketball. I'm pretty sure he plans to check off all the sports that involves a ball before we go back."

"Give him a break. I know he just misses you." Justin always knew to say the right thing in my moments of frustration. "I miss you."

"I miss you. How was your day?"

"I was working on a song for the wedding. I wanted to write something special for that day and something Stella will actually remember."

"She is one of your biggest fans after all. I know she'll love it."

Phoebe's call from the background interrupts our conversation. "Vi! Dinner is ready!"

"I have to go Bieber. Family dinner again." I sigh. "I love them but I miss your cooking."

"Hang in there baby." Justin smiles. "Who knows, you guys might go on a vacation or do something else soon."

I seriously hope so. "I love you Justin."

Justin says his 'i love you too' before I end the call to join the family in the house.

Tonight's dinner was an Indian cuisine and I was quite happy with their choice since it was my favorite. We made small talk, asking each other how our day went like every other night.

That was until a knock came from the door so Daniel excuses himself then comes back holding a brown envelope.

"That's weird to receive mail after 5:00PM." Paul eyes the envelope that his dad was holding.

Opening up the mail, Daniel reads it out loud. "A three day, two night vacation package at the Fern Resort."

"Yes! Finally, something entertaining." Phoebe feels excited. Looks like she wanted to do something else too just like me.

I couldn't blame her. Phoebe's spring break was almost ending and nothing exciting has happened to her so far.

"That sounds fun honey. Does it say who sent the package?" Winona asks Mr. St-Pierre.
