Since I had finished setting up my equipment for Stella and Jev's prenup shoot for today, I decided to use the time to help out with their outfits for today.

The prenup shoot was going to be in 2 locations. First was here back in our old high school, Stratford Secondary and the next was going to be in New York at the couple's university which would be flying to in a few days.

Jev and Stella wanted to do a setup where they would relive their love story. Though our old high school had nothing to do with how they had met, Jev thought this was the place to show how he changed from being the biggest player to finally settling for the one in college.

Henry Edwards, our principal, was still in charge of this school and since I was such a faculty's pet back in the days, getting his approval to shoot in campus was a piece of cake. It was also a Saturday so we weren't going to be a problem with only a few tutoring sessions taking place at the moment.

While dressing up Stella into one of the outfit trends of 2013, I decided to take the chance to talk to her.

It's been weeks since Justin and I have started talking again as friends. No one had suspected a thing yet, not even Paul considering we were together 24/7 but as usual, we had Stella to thank for.

I hated lying to him but I couldn't find the heart to turn my back on Justin despite everything he did. I still haven't let my guard down and I still declined some of his invites to lunch when a little voice tells me that things were going too far. I still knew my boundaries.

After all, it was just harmless talks and hangouts but I knew it would always look like it was something more to our friends.

"Stel, can I ask you something?" I finally spoke up since it was just the two of us now.

"Sure Vi, anything." Stella answers, her full attention now directs to me since she all ready for the shoot.

"I've been wanting to talk to you about this for the past few weeks but I just didn't know how to start the conversation without making you feel bad." I replied.

"Vi, what is it? You're making me nervous."

"Please, don't be. I'm the one that should be nervous because I really don't want to make you feel uncomfortable."

"Okay, spill."

Gathering all the courage, I finally ask, "Why have you been helping me and Justin to get together? Why have you been covering up for us?"

Before Stella could answer, she pulls me away from our friends so we could have a more private surrounding.

"I'm sorry, I just don't want the others to hear." She quickly apologizes before explaining. "For starters, it's not just me. Jev has also been putting effort to keep Paul and the rest of the boys away so you and Justin can have your time."

Why does that not surprise me? I should've known Jev was in this too.

"But why? I'm not mad. I'm just curious about all the effort." I ask her.

"We didn't mean any harm but Vi, when I heard you and Justin talking at the store, saw you two dance like nothing else mattered, I saw a light in you that I haven't seen in a long time." Stella answers.

"What do you mean?"

"I felt like despite everything, you two are still the end game. It became clearer especially when I saw you guys dance to the perfect music and that perfect dress. You might deny it but you're different when you're with Justin."
