Something was up with Phil, I knew it. So when he woke up I was going to ask him about it. He looked so sweet, laying there on my chest. His soft snores filled the room and his messy black hair covered some of his face. I smiled to myself, at what a beautiful boyfriend I had.

About an hour later he woke up, and we ate some breakfast. Once we were both awake, I tried asking him about yesterday.

"Phil, yesterday when you came home you look a little shaken up, did something happen? You know you can tell me."

He looked at me with sad and worried eyes, those beautiful blue eyes.
"Are you sure I can tell you?"
"Of course! Phil, you can trust me, I love you."
He half smiled and took a deep breath.

"When I was at the shop, there was a shady guy there. I kept my distance but right as I was about to leave, he pulled out a gun and demanded everyone to get on the ground. I.. I didn't know what to do. Dan... He killed a little girl."

"Oh phil," I hugged him. He started crying, I knew what to do to calm him down when he cries.

"My little sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away."

His tears turned into sniffles and when he looked up at me his face was blotchy and his eyes were red. I was never a good singer, but it calms phil down. I forced a smile to try and cheer him up, but he just kept hugging me. Poor phil, my little lion, held hostage. I can't even imagine witnessing a murder.

After a little more comfort he got up and admitted it felt better to tell me. But I was worried, I had so many questions but I didn't want to ask him because I could tell he didn't want to talk about it.

I just hope that man was caught and arrested.
