Dreams Can Lead To Awkward Situations :/ (Kaidou X Kuboyasu)

(Sorry for not updating much,, I really appreciate your guys love tho :3).

Kaidou froze. How was he supposed to tell Aren about his 'nightmares' when they weren't even nightmares, and he was the reason for his 'nightmares'. All kaidou could do is lay gawking at Kuboyasu. Not knowing what to do now, Kuboyasu spoke up. "Or maybe writing down your nightmares could help? Like a sleep journal? Mum always told me that as long as you get them outta your head, then they shouldn't bother you." Kuboyasu finished with a smile.

Kaidou nodded to his friend. "Yea I- I guess that might help. I'll do that from now on, thanks Kuboyasu." Kaidou said without thinking about how he just said Aren's family name and not his first name. Kuboyasu smiled and nodded but felt a little hurt at the use of his family name from his closest friend. "Yea! Why don't we go get you a note book?" Kuboyasu said getting out of bed and getting clothes. Kaidou followed suit and got his clothes ready and went to the bathroom to change. When he got back Kuboyasu was wearing some black jeans, a band shirt, and a leather jacket. He also wore a studded belt with chains connected to his belt loops. Kaidou looked at Kuboyasu in admiration for a second before he felt Kuboyasu looking at him and turned away.

"Are ya ready Kaidou?" Kuboyasu asked not sure if he was allowed to use Kaidou's first name anymore. "Yea there's no need for my family name though, were best friends right?" Kaidou answered trying to fix his previous mistake really quickly. "Okay good, I thought I did something wrong and you didn't want me to use your first name. Anyway, let's go." Kuboyasu said heading out his bedroom door. Kaidou followed him all the way to the store Kuboyasu mentioned.

Once back from the store with the notebook and pens (because Kuboyasu told him to buy more pens just in case), Kaidou put the items in his bag and said his goodbyes to Kuboyasu. When Kaidou got home and walked through the door, the first thing he heard was his mother. "You were at that Kuboyasu's house right? Did you two do your studies? Did he pull you back from your homework? I want to see your work Shun." Kaidou shook slightly with a little fear of his mother as he nodded his head and took out his notebook with his extra work in it.

Kaidou's mother looked over Shun's notebook and hummed in approval. "I guess I was wrong Shun. You did very well, I'm glad. Thank you for coming home before dark too." Kaidou bowed slightly to his mother and scurried off to his room. He lay on his bed thinking about last night and Aren. "Why did I have to have a dream like that in his bed." Shun groaned. "Who's bed?" Shun heard from his doorway. His head snapped up to look at his sister. "Sora! Aren't you supposed to be studying!?" Shun panicked and yelled at his sister. "You just got home stupid, I wanted to say hi before dinner." Sora looked at Shun and how red he was. "So who's bed and what dream?" Sora asked again tilting her head slightly while waiting for an answer. Shun didn't know what to do, he definitely couldn't tell his sister about the details of the dreams but telling her about Aren wouldn't hurt right?

"Well, you know that I was at Aren's last night right? I kinda had a weird dream about... I-..." Shun couldn't bring himself to finish his sentence but Sora started talking. "You had a dream about Aren in his bed huh? Man that sucks." Sora said bluntly. "Sora! I don't know what to do. I don't want him finding out because what if he's grossed out and doesn't want to be friends anymore?" Shun scolded his sister while tears started forming in his eyes. Sora just huffed and looked at her brother. "Look, he used to be a delinquent, right? I don't think there's much you can do that's gonna make him not want to be your friend. From how you talk about him, he seems like a nice guy. So please just talk to him, im sure he'll understand." Shun looked at Sora and smiled. "Thank you Sora." Sora nodded and left. Kaidou flopped back on his bed and grabbed his phone.

Kaidou 💙- hey are you free tomorrow after school?

Aren 💜- Yea sure why?

Kaidou 💙- cause I know nendous gonna want ramen and I kinda wanted to get sushi with you instead? if thats okay with you.

Aren 💜- Yea of course it is Shun! We'll meet at the shoe lockers, then go out okay?

Kaidou 💙- sounds good :)

Kaidou smiled at his phone and put it on charge. He looked at his back and contemplated writing his dream like Aren had said to do. 'What's the harm in writing my dream right?' Kaidou thought as he grabbed the notebook and pen. After finishing writing his dream, Kaidou put the notebook on his nightstand and went downstairs to try and help his mother make dinner.
