Dreams Can Lead To Awkward Situations :/ (Kaidou X Kuboyasu)

(Hi I started writing this at 3am and didn't finish it until 12am the next night so sorry if its bad :/)

After Kaidou finished himself off he got in the shower and changed into his school uniform. He went downstairs to see Sora and Toki at the table with his mother at the stove. "Hey mum, I'm off to school now. I'm going to Aren's house like we agreed so I won't be home tonight." Shun yelled on his way out the door with a piece of toast. He didn't hear his mother's response but he didn't really care. Kaidou was going to Kuboyasu's house, and he was very nervous but excited.

'What if I have another one of those weird dreams?' 'What if Aren doesn't want me to come over after all?' A lot of these "What ifs" were running through Kaidous head until he reached the school gates. After seeing Kuboyasu and waving to him, the thoughts were gone and replaced with new thoughts as Aren rested his elbow on Shun's shoulder while talking to him.

The bell rang signaling class was starting soon, so Kuboyasu took his elbow off of Kaidou and walked with him toward their class. Kaidou frowned a little at the loss of touch but continued on to class either way. Once they were in their seats Aren turned to Shun. "You're coming home with me tonight right? Unless you don't want to or can't, then it's okay. I just want you to have a good sleep." Kuboyasu said to Kaidou with a smile. Kaidou returned Kuboyasu's smile and nodded. "Yea I kinda told my mum we'd be doing extra homework so I'd be able to but I'm definitely coming." Kaidou said a little nervously and a little in awe at how much Kuboyasu cared if he got a good sleep.

Aren seemed to be content with that answer and faced forward as the teacher walked into class, Kaidou doing the same. Classes went by surprisingly quick for Kaidou and before he knew it the bell rang for everyone to go home. Kaidou met Kuboyasu at the shoe lockers and after changing their shoes and heading toward the gate, Kuboyasu slung his arm around Kaidou like he usually does. They get halfway to Aren's house when he puts his arm down at his side and speaks up. "Y'know if it makes you feel better so you're not lying to your mum, we could do extra homework. I do need to study a little more anyway." Shun looked and Aren and smiled.

"Okay, sure! I'm pretty good with studying, I have to do a bunch of work at home anyway so I'd be happy to help." Kaidou beamed at Kuboyasu. Aren smiled at Shun then looked forward and grabbed Shun's hand. "Thanks. I'd really appreciate your help." Kaidou's walking faltered for a second as he processed what Kuboyasu just did but recovered and kept in step with Kuboyasu. Kaidou was still freaking out a little in his head as he walked beside Kuboyasu. They were holding hands and Kaidou didn't know what to do. He could feel the blush creeping onto his face and silently prayed Kuboyasu wouldn't notice. Kuboyasu either didn't notice or just didn't say anything as he continued walking.

Kaidou decided to give Kuboyasu's hand a little squeeze to see how he would react. Kuboyasu looked at their intertwined hands then at Kaidou and smiled, gently squeezing back. Kaidou was full out blushing and didn't think any prayer would work in hiding it now. They made it to Kuboyasu's house and let their hands fall apart as Aren opened the door. They walk inside and up the stairs to Kuboyau's room closing the door behind them. They both pull their homework out of their bags and get to work.

After finishing all the work provided, Kuboyasu stood up. "Alright I just have to use the washroom quickly, you can do whatever just please don't open the 2nd drawer of my dresser." Kuboyasu said leaving the room with Kaidou in it. Kaidou was too preoccupied with thinking about their walk home to even bother with whatever Aren had said about his dresser. Instead he took a good look around his room. It was very... Aren. Very delinquent esc decor, If the many road signs and baseball bats were anything to go by. Kaidou thought it was a little cool though, how Kuboyasu was living a very different life than he had a year ago.
