Dreams Can Lead To Awkward Situations :/ (Kaidou X Kuboyasu)

(Okay there was a shit tone if votes and people adding this to their reading lists so I decided to update ;-;)
{Sorry if this isn't any good, I've kinda fallen away from Saiki, like I still watch it just not as frequently.}

Kaidou woke up to a pair of strong arms around him. He looked up to see the purple haired boy sleeping peacefully. Kaidou smiled and nuzzled his head into the crook of Kuboyasu's neck. The movement causing the purple haired boy to shift slightly in his sleep and groan. Kaidou then tried to get out of the arms around his torso to only have them tighten and Kuboyasu wake up. "Morning Shun." Kuboyasu smiled as he kissed the top of Kaidou's head. Kaidou blushed and mumbled a good morning back. "How was your sleep last night? You started to sound uncomfortable but you were okay when I tried to calm you down." Kuboyasu asked as he untangled their arms and sat up.

Kaidou sat up as well and hung his head, sighing quietly. "Yea, I kinda had a bad dream about my mother. But you helped make her go away." Kuboyasu smiled and stood up from the bed. He looked at Kaidlu and reached out his hand to help him off the bed. "Well, I'm glad I could help you." He said as Kaidou stood up. Kuboysau then kissed the top of Kaidou's head, causing the shorter to blush. "Do you want me to walk you home? I could try to talk to your mother if you think it'd help any?" Kuboyasu suggested as he pulled on some sweatpants and a shirt. Kaidou only hummed and shook his head, doing the same. "No it might not be the best idea for her to see me with you, sorry." Kaidou said, visibly upset. Kuboyasu just shook his head. "Thats okay Shun! If it won't help then it won't help. I'm not gonna take offense to that."

Kaidou smiled and teared up a little. He then nodded and followed Kuboyasu as he started heading down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, Kuboyasu's mum noticed the two boys. "Oh! Good morning! How are you today Kaidou?" She asked in a cheery voice as she was making a lunch for her husband. Kaidou smiled at the woman and bowed. "I'm a lot better. Thank you so much for letting me stay the night." Kuboyasu's mum laughed lightly at the politeness coming from the small boy. "It's totally okay Kaidou! No need to thank me, whatever helps you out." She said which in turn made Kaidou tear up slightly. He nodded toward her and turned to Aren. Kuboyasu was smiling at the blue haired boy and grabbed his hand. "Alright, let's get you home then."

Sora went into their mother's room to try and find their mother. She found her sitting on her bed, reading housewife magazines. Sora walked up to her and cleared her throat, making herself known. "Oh hi Sora, are you finished with your homework? Your cram school homework as well?" Mrs. Kaidou asked as she put the magazine down. Sora nodded and spoke. "Mom. Why are you mad at Kaidou for liking a boy? You know Kuboyasu! He's a nice guy and he won't hurt Kaidou." Sora said as she sighed. Mrs. Kaidou huffed in response. "He shouldn't like that boy. He shouldn't like any boys. Your brother is just rebelling. He's made a stupid decision and therefore will face the consequences when he gets home." Sora sighed at her mother once more. "Do you even know where he is mom? Do you even care? He could be anywhere! And all you care about is punishing him when he gets back! Maybe you should try talking things through with him! I'm sure if you ease off him then he might talk to you more. When was the last time you talked to Kaidou about something other than school?" Sora asked agrivated. Her mother only rolled her eyes.

"I don't appreciate your tone Sora. Just because you're a girl doesn't mean you can give me sas. And me and your brother have talked a lot." Mrs. Kaidou said matter of factly. Sora pushed her limits and scoffed at her mother. "Oh yea? About what? About his friends? About his favourite food? About his weird Chuunibyou thing he has going on?" Mrs. Kaidou's eyes widened as she realized she knew nothing about her son other than his grades and how he was doing in his classes. "I- I don't know any of that. Sora, I don't even know what Kaidou's favourite food is." Sora sighed at her mother before speaking in a softer voice. "He likes salami. Please just ease up on him. He's probably having a rough time. I don't talk to him much because of his studying but he seems happy around Kuboyasu. Please don't ruin that for him." Sora pleaded to her mother. The latter nodded and sighed.

On their way home Kuboyasu held Kaidou's hand, fingers interlocked as their hands swung slightly at their sides. "Thanks for walking me home Aren. I really appreciate it." Kaidoi said to the boy beside him. Kuboyasu smiled at the blue haired boy. "Its not a problem Shun. Whatever makes you feel comfortable and safe." Kuboyasu said as he brought their hands up to his lips and kissed the top of Kaidou's hand. Kaidou blushed in response and stared at the ground. They were a few houses away from Kaidou's when he stopped. "I- I don't want my mother getting mad at me. I'm really sorry but could you let me walk the rest of the way alone?" Kaidou asked, feeling guilty as he looked at Kuboyasu. The latter only smiled and nodded. "No problem Shun. Again, whatever makes you feel safe and comfortable. I really don't mind." Kuboyasu said, untangling their fingers.

Kaidou smiled back pulling Kuboyasu's hand toward his lips before he could turn back. He kissed Kuboyasu's hand then said goodbye to his boyfriend. Kaidou walked the rest of his way home alone, feeling bad about making Kuboyasu turn around. He didn't want to make his mother more mad than she was going to be already. Kaidou made it to the front door of his house, took a deep breath and opened the door. Behind the door stood his mother and his sister. His mother wore a softer than usual expression while his sister had a slight smile. "Hi Shun. And where did you go?" His mother asked plainly. He weighed his options before deciding lying was a lost cause. "Kuboyasu's." Was what Kaidou said. His mother only nodding in response.
