Dreams Can Lead To Awkward Situations :/ (Kaidou X Kuboyasu)

{Theres probably only going to be one more chapter and its gonna have smut in it cause I've gotten better at writing it *I hope* so yea next chapter is smut :,)}

"Alright, well no phone for 2 days. And I want all of your homework done." Mrs. Kaidou said as she stared at her oldest. Shun hung his head and nodded, although confused as to why she wasn't being harsher on him. "Now go to your room and get your work done Shun." The oldest nodded and started heading up to his room. Once there he sat on his bed and sobed silently until he heard a gentle knock on his door frame. Shun looked up from his lap to see his sister standing in the doorway.

"She didn't go too hard on you did she?" Sora said, Shun shaking his head in response. "What did you tell her? Why's she not being as strict as she usually is?" Shun asked his sister as she came in the room and sat on his bed beside him. "Well, I kind of guilt tripped her. Told her she was a bit of a bad mom." Sora said guiltily to her brother. Shun chuckled slightly at his sister. "You didn't have to do that Sora. But thank you." Shun said as he pulled his sister into a hug. Sora returned the hug and smiled. "It's no problem Shun. As long as you were safe when you were gone." Shun smiled and nodded as he pulled away. "Yea... I was at Aren's. He's... we're together... too." Sora smiled at her older brother.

Soon after Sora left Shun's room his mother came in. "Hey Shun... I- I'm sorry if I haven't been an involved mother with you. I just want you to do well in life. I want you to be better than I am. I'm really sorry for snapping at you. And if you're really serious about the whole Kuboyasu thing... I guess it's not... that big of a deal. Kuboyasu's a good boy, acts a little too much like a delinquent, but he seems good to you. I'll try to put my opinions to the side if it means you'll be happy in life." Mrs. Kaidou said with tears in her eyes as she stood in the doorway to Shun's room. "Yea. He's very good to me, mother. He doesn't make fun of me like the other kids do." Shun said with his head down and tears pricking at his eyes. Shun's mother looked at her son confused before realizing she didn't know he was being bullied because she never talked to him.

"I'm glad he treats you right Shun. You should feel loved. I'm really sorry I haven't exactly made you feel that way but I'm willing to change." Mrs. Kaidou then turned to leave before saying, "I love you." over her shoulder. Kaidou pulled his knees close to his chest and sobbed for close to 5 minutes before getting up to get his extra homework done when he saw his phone placed on his desk with a note underneath. The note was written in fancy handwriting, too professional looking to be Sora's and too readable to be Toki's. The note said, "You kept getting texts from an *Aren 💜* so I assumed it was important. You can keep this as long as you don't run away anymore. :)" Shun read the note twice before grabbing his phone and turning it on to see 5 texts from Kuboyasu and went to read them. 'Are you okay Shun?', 'is your mother being rude?', 'please be okay Shun.', 'text me as soon as you get your phone.', 'I'm really worried about you Shun.'. Were all the text Shun read as he typed out a response.

Kaidou 💙- hey aren. I'm okay. My mothers acting weird, but in a good way.

Aren 💜- oh I'm so glad you're okay! I swear I was about to come back to your house to come get you.

Kaidou 💙- no its okay! I'm alright, my mother took my phone but i have it back?

Aren 💜- weird?

Kaidou 💙- ik but she apologized for getting mad at me too? She said she's gonna try to change so??

Aren 💜- well thats good ig. But still, if you ever need to get away you're always welcome here! Just let me know so mum has enough food

Kaidou 💙- thanks Aren 💕

Aren 💜- no problem at all Shun! <3

Kaidou smiled at his phone as he put it down and started working on extra work he asked for. Once he finished his work, he walked out of his room to look for his mother. Shun walked down the stairs and into the kitchen where his mother was cooking dinner. "Hey uhm, would it be okay if I went over to Kuboyasu's place to help him study? He needs help with his homework and forgot to ask when I was there earlier." Shun said to his mother even though he was only going there to see his boyfriend. Mrs. Kaidou tilted her head and thought for a second. "You're going to help him? Do you have everything done that you're supposed to do?" She asked, to which Shun nodded. "Yes. Everything's done and double checked." Mrs. Kaidou nodded and hummed in response. "Alright, just let me know what time you're coming home then."

"Thanks. I'll probably just stay the night. Aren's parents are okay with me coming over too." Shun said to his mother as he left the house. When he stepped out of his house at 1830, he texted Aren, saying he was going to be at his house soon. Aren texted back saying okay and offering to meet him halfway which Shun said no to. There was no point anyway. Shun got to Arens house and knocked on the door. Aren's mum opened the door with a smile. "Oh hello again Kaidou! Are you staying again?" She asked as she closed the door behind the boy. "I was hoping to yes but if not then that's totally okay." Kaidou said as he bowed slightly. "Oh nonsense! You're always welcome Kaidou." Aren's mum tsked in response.
