You were sitting on the couch in the living room of your apartment, you had a big fluffy blanket wrapped around you while you read your favorite book. It was late October, almost November, and almost time for fall. Fall was one of those special times of the year, the kids had gone back to school, the coffee shops were coming out with their holiday flavors, and Halloween was just right around the corner.

You heard the front door open then shut again." I'm back." Seb said as he took his coat off and his shoes. He walked into the living room where you were snuggled up on the couch." I got you something." He told you." And what might that be?" You asked as you looked up at him. He pulled his hands out from behind his back and handed you the coffee cup he was holding." You're spoiling me Seb." He smiled and sat down next to you." I thought I would stop by our favorite coffee shop before coming home." You took a sip of the coffee and smiled." This is so good." You said, looking over at him. The flavor Seb had got you was Pumpkin spice roast, one of your favorites to get around this time of the year." So." Seb said as he set his coffee down on the side table." What do you want to do today?" You set your coffee down and pulled the blanket you had wrapped around yourself tighter." I kind of want to just stay here and snuggle." He smiled and leaned closer to you." I think that could be arranged." You giggled before he kissed you.

You were laying on the couch, Sebastian was in the kitchen cooking something while you lay lazily on the couch hidden under multiple blankets." Whatever it is your cooking it smells really good." You yelled as you looked over the back of the couch towards the kitchen. He walked around the corner with a tray in his hands." Well then I hope you like it." He set the tray down in front of you and took his seat, he was practically sitting on you because of all the blankets you had." What is it?" You asked as you looked at the food on the tray." Try it, it's really good." "Well what is it?" He sighed and handed you one of the bowls from the tray." Just try it."

You took the bowl from him and looked down at the food in the bowl. He had made some sort of soup, it was red, it almost looked like tomato soup." It smells good." He smirked over at you as he took the other bowl from the tray." Come on, it's my mothers old recipe. You'll love it." You took the spoon in hand and took a small spoon full and ate it. You smiled and looked over at Seb." This is really good." He smiled proudly as he ate his own soup." Told you so." The soup was called Borscht, one of Sebastian's favorite foods, he told you that his mother used to make it for him all the time when he was younger and after he moved out he learned how to make it." I need to learn how to make this." You told Seb as you both ate your soup." I will have to teach you some time." You nodded and ate the rest of your soup.

You sat back on the couch after finishing your food and sighed contently." That was really good." Seb smiled and draped his arm around your shoulders." So..." Sebastian said as you looked up at him." I may have done something." You looked at him confused." What do you mean?" He smirked and looked down at you." To find out what I did we have to go on a walk." This made you even more confused." What are you up to Seb?" You asked." Well come with me and find out." He held his hand out for you to take which you did without hesitation. He pulled you off the couch which you strongly protested against." Seb, but I'm warm." You wined as he dragged you to the door." Come on, please." He begged you. You groaned." Fine." He smiled and stopped at the door, slipping his shoes on and his jacket. You did the same and soon we're ready to go." Let's go." He said and took your hand.

You walked down the streets of Manhattan, the cold breeze hit your face and filled your jacket. You shivered, pulling your jacket up further. Sebastian took your hand in his, running his thumb over your knuckles." Where are we going?" You asked as you crossed the road." You'll see." He answered.

You walked into a bookstore in up town New York." What? Why are we here?" You asked as you turned to Sebastian." Because I know you love reading, and autumn is kind of the perfect time to read, and I've also noticed you've been rereading all of your old books. So I wanted to get you new ones." You looked around the giant bookstore and took in a stuttered breath." You do realize we're going to be here forever right?" He nodded and squeeze your hand." I was planning on it."
