Your house was silent, not a sound could be heard. The soft crackles from the fire were the only sound that arose. The lights on the tree were sparkling bright, it was Christmas Eve, who knew it would happen so fast. You were laying in bed, all wrapped up in blankets, the one you loved laying besides you, never daring to leave.
But suddenly, a sound broke lose, the chatter of children and the laughing of them both. You tried to ignore, it was to early for this, but the man pressed against you insists." It's Christmas." He said, a smile on his words, but you refused to believe, now, how, it was just Christmas Eve." We need to wake up." He said in a hush." The kids will open everything before we even get up." You sighed in defeat, you knew he was right, you rolled over and looked into his eyes that were so bright. His soft smile made it clear, he was just as excited as the children you hear." Okay fine." You said was a sigh and a huff." But it's still to early for all this stuff."
He smiles and laughed with glee before pressing a kiss to your cheek. He hopped out of bed in a hurry, not forgetting to help his love before he scurried. You walked down the hall and not to your surprise, there they were, two kids, ready to go." When can we open them." Asked one with excitement." Not yet little one." You said with delight. It was a magical thing, watching your husband sit down, next to the two children almost as if he was one." Ready?" He asked a he held a gift to you. You took it and smiled saying," I'm ready, are you?" They all nodded and paper was thrown, gasps and cheers followed as soon as it was.
You smiled and laughed as you opened your own gift, it was a gun, one of many Bucky had given." I want you to be protected." He said with a smirk." Oh trust me I am, I've got you don't you know?" He smiled up at you before getting bombarded with," dad look at this, and the, I've got one too." The glee of the moment could not be ruined. It was your perfect Christmas even if so, you had to wake up to enjoy it so much more.
