You poured hot water over the pan you had been scrubbing down, washing the soapy suds all away before you dried it off and placed it in the cabinet next to the sink. You sighed and looked at your wrinkly fingers, they had gotten that way from washing all of the dinner plates and scrubbing down the pan that didn't want to get clean. As you dried off your hands and put your wedding ring back on you heard soft music coming from the living room when suddenly you felt two arms wrap then selves around your waist. A pair of lips met your neck as whiskers tickled your skin.

"You should dance with me." A deep voice said." I'm really tiered though. Maybe later." You were spun around and met by the same lips only on yours this time." Please." He asked. You sighed and looked up at the scruffy face of Bucky. He had just recently had his hair cut, much to your disapproval, but the short hair suited him. He had a weeks-worth of stubble growing on his chin, something you always found attractive on him." Please dance with me." He begged. You gave in and set your left hand on his shoulder as he took your right one in his hand.

You both picked up on the faint tone playing from the living room and started to sway to the music. Bucky's metal hand held your waist loosely as you moved with him to the beat. You looked into each other's eyes as a new song started.

"Everybody loves somebody, sometime. Everybody falls in love somehow."

You smiled up at Bucky as the song went on. You loved it when he would put on music from his time, it brought out a different part of him, a happier side of him, one you always wanted to know more." Did you know I wanted this song to play at our wedding?" Bucky told you." No, why didn't you tell me that?" He shrugged." It brought back to many confusing memories at the time, now all I can think of are the happy ones." " I could have had it played; you know that right." He chuckled." I know you could have, but I didn't want to ruin our first dance because I was having a panic attack." You had to agree with him on that one.

The song ended and a new one started, one that almost brought tears to your eyes. It was the song that played when you and Bucky first danced, not at your wedding but at a party Tony had thrown of all things. It was called ' I fall in love to Easily' and it was every bit the truth." I remember when I first heard this song. It started playing as I looked across the dance floor right at you, you were leaning against the bar with Steve, you didn't look like you were having a good time at all." Bucky laughed and nodded." I wasn't. Steve wouldn't stop flirting with Sharon." You giggled." And, to continue on." You said." You looked over at me and I fiscally saw your face light up, if that's even possible." " Then I walked over to you." Bucky said as he spun you slowly then brought you back up against his chest." And I asked you to dance." You smiled at the memory.

You rested your head on Bucky's shoulder as the two of you swayed back and forth in the middle of the kitchen, only the soft sound of the music playing filled the air. Bucky let go of your hand and held your waist as your hand went to his chest, feeling his heartbeat through his thin shirt. He kissed your forehead and smiled as the song came to an end." I love you." He whispered to you. You lifted your head from his chest and looked up to his bright blue eyes before answering." I love you too." He pressed a soft lingering kiss to your lips as the two of you stopped swaying.

You pulled apart and smiled at each other." I love you, so much." Bucky told you as he placed his hands on the sides of your face." I love you too, so, so much." You pecked his lips with yours before you both called it a night. You walked down the hall with Bucky to your room, closing the door behind the two of you. After you had gotten your pjs on you brushed your teeth and hair out you joined Bucky on the bed. He smiled as you cuddled up close to him, resting your head on his shoulder as he rubbed your back." That feels nice." You groaned as his metal hand ran up and down your back." Oh yeah?" Bucky smirked down at you.

"I wish we played that song at our wedding." You told Bucky, gaining a long sigh from him." I wish we could have too, I'm sorry I was like that then, I just really wanted everything to be perfect." You looked up at Bucky as he looked at you." It was, even without that song. I'm just glad we can enjoy it now." He agreed with you on that." So am I." With one finale kiss you both fell asleep with sweet dreams that night, filled to the brim with all the amazing memories the two of you had brought to life together.
