Chapter 1

In Kayla's bed room
Kayla's POV :
I jumped out of my bed when my alarm went off . I got out my bed did my usual Hygiene like brushing my teeth and doing my hair and stuff like that .

I can't believe I'm a senior this year ! My last year of high school and I'm so happy . I threw on my champion shirt and the sweat pants to match .

I looked at myself in my full body mirror. "Damn ! I look like a bad bitch !" I said to myself.  "Damn I look like a bad bitch !" My little sister Olivia said mocking me.

Playfully pushed her . "You are so annoying! You know that ?" Liv started cracking up . "You love me though! So can I borrow these ?" She asked holding up a pair of my silver hoops .

"I'll think about it !" I said simply sitting on my bed as I watched her . "Come on Kay ! Will is gonna be here to pick me !" She  whined.  My phone buzzed.

Shoota (j) :
Jazz : "Girl hurry up , I'm trying to hang with you before class starts !"

Me: "Girl don't rush me damn , you know my sister always tryna take my shit !"

Jazz: "Girl whatever 😂 just hurry up with your slow ass!"

I rolled my eyes and sat my phone down. "So ..... can I wear them ? Please ! Please ! Please !" Liv begged an hopped up and down like she was two all over again. 

I chuckled. "Yess !"

I walked in the front doors of the school and headed to my locker . I put my backpack and books inside then I went inside the gym and sat on the bleachers .

jazz sat next to me smiling."Hey Kay ! Tell me why it took you so damn long to get here and all your wearing is a shirt and sweats ?" She laughed .

"Bro shut up , you know beauty takes time ! Anyways where's Maya at?" I asked running my fingers through my long  hair.

I watched as Jazz's smile turned into a tiny frown ."I don't know she should be here by now." She said scrolling through her contacts .

She was about to put the phone to her ear until we saw Maya walking through the gym doors.

"Maya ! Girl over here !" I stood up yelling and waving so she could see where Jazz and I are sitting. She smiled widely and walked towards us .

I looked at her funny since I noticed she was walking a little funny .

She sat down and laid her head on my shoulder .
"Maya what's wrong?" Jazz asked.

"Nothing, I'm just really sore and exhausted. Last night was something !"she hissed in pain. I rubbed her back ."Why are you so sore ?"

"Because Chris and I was boxing last night and I fell." She giggled . "Girl bye , you was popping Coochie !" I said bluntly.

"Kay  you didn't have to do her like that !" Jazz said cracking up before I could respond jazz's laughing turned into silence.

"Girl look at your boyfriend!" Maya said as she tapped me.  I turned to see my supposed to be boyfriend Trent .

"Girl if he's your boyfriend then why in the hell is he all in shorty face ?" Maya asked as she stood up like she was going to go over there .
