Next day
Kayla's POV:
I woke up to the fresh smell of home made pancakes and bacon. I did my hygiene like I do ever morning but today is special because it's my birthday . November 20th , I'm finally 18 .I said to myself in the mirror.

I threw on my favorite yellow hoodie that I love so much so I can wear it to school .Its Thursday and I'm glad because it's thanksgiving break. I'm glad I live in Virginia the weather isn't super bad .

I ran down stairs to the kitchen where I see my mom , dad, Hakeem and Olivia sitting down at the table.I sat down in a open seat next to liv  and Kemy . He hates when I call him Kemy .

" Happy birthday !" Liv and Kemy said with big similes on their faces .

" Happy birthday princess!" Dad and mom said while mom sat my plate In Front of me .

I looked down at my pancakes and smiled because of the big smiley face my mom made with the fruit like she always dose every year on my birthday when she makes breakfast.

"Thank you fam ." I said blowing them kisses.   
" Awwww my baby is finally 18 ... Your not my little baby anymore ." mom said wiping her tears .

" Mom please don't cry your gonna make me cry . " I said wiping the corners of my eyes . She got up from her seat and hugged me .

" Mommy I'll always be your baby !" I said and She smiled.  "Babe we raised a wonderful young woman." She said to dad .

"Yea we sure did ! Baby girl have you made up your mind about where you want to go for college yet?"

" I'm not sure just yet daddy , but I know we have the collage tours in January ." He shook his head," Well what do you got planned for today?"

" Probably just shopping and hanging with my friends ." I said shrugging . I'm not the type of person to go all out for my birthday . "Ok princess don't miss me and your mom to much ."

Liv , Kemy and I frowned. They sighed ," We have to go to Tokyo for business."

" Oh." We said lowly .
I honestly always hated how they always have to leave , but I kinda understand they work for Apple and that's how they take care of me and my siblings. Then I headed to school after breakfast .

After school
Chris's POV:
I laid the sheet of paper with every thing that needed to be done and everything that we had done ,in the middle of the table so August, jazz , maya , and Trey can see .

I relaxed at my desk in the art room since Mrs.K said she doesn't mind that we be in here planing stuff .

" You guy's sure you guys got what we need for Kayla's party tonight?" I asked looking at them .

Everyone said yes and wrote their names by what they're doing and getting for her party besides August.

We looked at August ." Aug do you know what you doing and getting ?" He shook his head ."No I don'know what ta get ha but I know what I'm doing fa da party ."

" Well She told me she wants a tattoo and to meet Beyoncé but I got that part taken care of ." I said .Jazz smiled, " The other day I seen her looking at two pairs of new Jordan she wanted."

" Do ya know what they look like ?"
We watched as jazz pulled out her phone and typed something then she showed the picture of the Jordan's to us.
