7 years later{Narrator POV}

Toni topaz is the most famous and richest person in New York, she owns the most popular club named "Pretty poisons", runs a the most dangerous gang called "The Serpents" and you can't forget how she's the best Basketball player the in all of NY.

This isn't what Toni wanted well except for the basketball part she worked hard so that she could earn it but as for the gang stuff and running a club, hell no. After some time tho she came love it. In regards for her love life well it's pretty non existent. She fell in love with Cheryl but as always, it came to an end. Her parents moved her away and she was never seen or heard from again. This broke Toni and ever since then she became just like her father with different hoes running in and out of her house and smoking all the time to numb the pain. One thing losing Cheryl left her with is this undying rage. That right there is why everyone knows not to fuck with Toni Topaz. The record of how many people she's sent to the hospital is horrendous and too many to count but don't get it twisted, Toni only hurts the people that fuck with her money, her friends, her dancers, and most importantly her. 

Right now in Toni's eyes, she's on top of the world. She has bitches, money, and pursued her dream of playing ball. She lives in this huge mansion and even bought her friends one. She owns many properties or should she say trap houses and could have anything she could ever want. Except for Cheryl and her parents but we don't talk about that. Overall she has so much but she's still lonely...

Toni's POV

I woke up to my alarm blaring and the smell of breakfast... "who the hell could be in my house?" I said very quietly. I checked the time to see it was 7:30 that even raised so much more suspicion. I quickly threw on some sweatpants and a white tank top and made my way downstairs. I calmed down once I seen it was Fangs, Sweetpea, and Peaches. "What the hell are you guys doing in my house??"

They stopped whatever conversation they had to
look at me. "Well we haven't seen you around in weeks and we wanted to make sure you were okay" Fangs said with a solemn look. "Guys I'm fine" "You've missed weeks of practice" " And? I'm the best player that team has they're not gonna drop me so I don't need the lecture Fangs." "We know what day is is too" I just stare. I check the date "May 24" the day of my parents death.

Flashback...{Still Toni's POV}

It's been 2 days since I've ran away. I didn't even tell Cheryl or go to school I've just been thinking about what happened the day I left. Eventually I figured enough was enough, I miss my mom and my dad and I should go apologize for what the hell I just did, they're probably worried sick. I take my bags load them on my motorcycle and speed back home

I turn on the street of my house when I hear police sirens. I ride up further to see which house it's coming from but the further up the street I ride the more I start to realize it's coming from mine. I stop and see 2 fire trucks, the ambulance, and 2 people being rolled out of my house on a gurney. I jump off my bike and run to my house so fast. I'm so close to the door when I'm lunged back by some officers telling me I can't go forward. What do they mean I can't go forward?? What about my parents?? I started crying really hard and screaming, "GET OFF OF ME!" "MY PARENTS, WHERES MY PARENTS??" "Ma'am I'm gonna need you to calm down. Do you live here?" He can't be serious. "OF COURSE I LIVE HERE!" I turn my head for a second and see a hand, that looks a lot like my fathers hand because he always has the same rings on and never takes them off for anything...I run to the gurney with my fathers hand sticking out and grab it. After that I start bawling. "DAD PLEASE!" "I'M SORRY FOR WHAT I SAID JUST DON'T LEAVE ME!"

After awhile I'm pulled back so that the ambulance can close the door and drive them away. The officer that I was with before pulls me to the side of his vehicle and tells me that I need to go with him. "I'm not coming with you until you tell me what happened to my dad and where my mom is" I say coldly not even looking up at him. "Okay to make a long story short your parents overdosed on drugs and the stove was left on too long which caused a fire" I wanted to cry again but I couldn't. I can't cry anymore in front of him, he'll think I need some kind of sympathy or help."Thank you for telling me" "No problem just wait here while I go talk to some more people" "Okay" I said waiting for him to leave so I can escape.

Once I seen that all the officers and people are distracted I rolled my vehicle down the road and turned the corner. I looked back one last time and seen no one noticed. I hop on my bike and ride all the way back to the hide out while letting my tears slowly fall...I've lost everything...this is what I get for walking out on the two people that loved and cared for me.

Back to present time...{Toni's POV}

"That doesn't mean I need a babysitter I'm fine guys" I say looking at all of them sincerely. "Well Tiny says she's fine so she is" Sweets say giving me a small smile. I whisper a small "Thank you" to him.
"So Tiny we need to hit up your club tonight" Sweetpea says smiling. "Why?" "Because this new duo "Icyy Hot" is gonna preform tonight that's why" I look at him confused "who is "Icyy Hot" and why aren't they on my list of workers?" I question him. I pull out my phone and check to see if I can get any clues but it gets smacked out of my hand "What was that for?" "You can check them out later, right now you need to find an outfit for later and head to practice so you can make up for all of the ones you missed. "Okay okay I will" I say laughing. I'll be there.
