"The worst type of alone is being alone in a room full of people." - Grayson Williams

Aurora VegaThe day passed by in a blur, it was midnight and I couldn't sleep no matter how hard I tried. I decided to go down to the kitchen and get a glass of water. I walked down the stairs and poured myself some water. When I turned around I noticed that I was no longer alone.
Alexander Castillo was standing in front of me wearing a suit sipping on a glass of what looked to be straight whiskey. "Well if it isn't Aurora." He smirked at me and immediately I had a bad feeling.
Just looking at this man made me want to throw up.
Don't get me wrong he wasn't bad looking, I'm sure he has women lined up. His salt and pepper like hair suited him well, he wasn't skinny, he had muscles, no typical bear belly. His teeth were straight and white. But other than his looks he was a disgusting person.
I feel bad for Julia, she's such a sweet person, yet she had to live with such an evil man like himself.
Without any warning I was met with his fist colliding into my jaw. My face turned in the opposite direction. I could feel the blood trickling down my face as he stood there looking at me with a smirk on his face.
He took another sip of his drink and turned on his feet and walked away like nothing even happened. I held my face and walked over to the sink washing off the blood.
I hate this motherfucker.
After I was done I turned around and walked to the windows. I saw that there was a figure on top of one of the cars parked on the driveway.
I put on some shoes and walked over to the figure. It was dark making it hard to see anything.
I walked over to see Vince sitting on the hood of a black Audi with a cigarette lodged between his lip. He was staring up at the sky. He didn't turn to look at me or acknowledge my presents. I stood there not wanting to disturb him, I watched as he took the cigarette out of his mouth and let the smoke blow out of the side of his mouth.
It wasn't until he brought a hand up to his lips and pulled it away, that he stopped looking to the sky.
I didn't take Vince as a smoker. He was always a very put together business oriented man who, from what I've seen. Wasn't the type of man to not indulge in such activities.
Although he didn't make a sound the whole time I was there, I knew he knew I was here. "Care to join?" His head rolled to the side giving me a look over. A soft smile on his lips.
I nod and watch him scoot over a little. Patting the area on the hood I was to join him on. He sat up once I sat down; for a few silent minutes, we just sat there. Listening to the crickets chirp from the bushes and the soft wind brushing against the trees. The sound of the city and enjoying the silent neighbourhood. The silence wasn't unpleasant or unwelcoming.
I turned my head subtly, just in time to catch Vince blowing out another cloud of smoke through his nearly closed lips. I hear him sigh quickly, bringing his legs up to his chest and looking at me.
I cleared my throat. "Tell me something I don't know about Vince Salvatore."
I brought my legs up to my chest and looked up at the bright moon. " I was married once." My body turned to him as I looked at him in shock. "You were married?" He chuckled, then took another whiff of his cigarette.
