MY ENGLISH PROFESSOR COMPLIMENTED ME ON MY FIRST WRITING ENTRY IN HIS CLASS AND I FEEL SO FUCKING GOOD ABOUT IT 💗😌💓💕💜❤️💚💙💓❤️❣️💞💙
this class is apart of my dual enrollment (taking college classes while in high school) anddd it's supposed to have this stuff in it:
•free-writing/brainstorming •small/large group discussion •rough drafting of assigned writings •note-taking •mini-lessons and lectures •essays
and i didn't know that stuff until i was already in the class! and i'm so fucking excited because i love being able to free-write and do my shit without having a specific goal. he gave us a theme, and that was it. besides saying, "write it first in past tense and then in present tense."
and honestly, i just love getting specific compliments about my writing. i love getting things like "i loved this chapter!" or "it was written so well!" butttt compliments like "the feel of this chapter was so dramatic" or "the kinds of words you use are so powerful"
it's just stuff like that, that really make me happy. trust me, i fucking love every good comment i get, but stuff like this (especially from a teacher), is so refreshing and nice.
i'm excited for what else this class is going to bring me :))
