Hiroo opened his eyes slowly. He heard his partners wispy breathing. Turning over to see them, breathing heavy and cold sweat dripping down their forehead. Hiroo shook them lightly. Y/n's eyes shot open. "Hey hey... are you ok..? baby?" Hiroo asked, his s/o shaking slightly. "Yes, just a.... nightmare" they mumbled the final word, as if they where ashamed of it. it's took a minute for Hiroo to process that, yes, they where ashamed of it. Hiroo frowned. Y/n sighed. "Can i hug you?" Hiroo asked, he wasn't good at interacting with people. even his own s/o. Y/n nodded. Hiroo wrapped his arms around them, nuzzling his nose into their hair.
"Y/n, you know you can tell me about what goes on in your head, right?" Hiroo mumbled, breathing in their sent. "I... I'm scared..." Hiroo blinked. "Huh....?" Hiroo moved his head so he could see their face. Moving the hair that dangled i front of their eyes, Hiroo kissed their forehead, humming softly. "Your ok, i'm here and will die for you." Y/n shook their head. "Thats the problem... I don't want you to die... i would rather both of us die then you...."
Y/n sighed. "i know it's stupid but it's true..." Hiroo sat back, listening to all of this. "hmm, ok i think i get it. So how can i make you more comfortable right now?" Hiroo asked, kissing their forehead again. "This might be stupid, but... erm... Cuddles?"
Y/n froze for a second before blurting out a mess of words:
"ifyourcomfortablewithit!!" Hiroo smiled softly, before tackling Y/n in a hug.
"I love you, and i'm here for you."
"Forever?"
"Forever."
