I'm hanging the sheets on the clothing line when I hear our sweet baby girl's little feet pitter pattering against the gravel I say stop running my love she giggles and says I'm sorry mommy I finish hanging them and pick her up she says where's daddy I say he went to pick up gramma and grampa from the airport and as if on cue they pull up and get out I put her down and she runs to her daddy open arms screaming Daddy! Daddy! He smiles and picks her up and she holds onto him she's crazy about her daddy she says I missed you! He says I missed you too my sweet were you a good girl? She says yes! He comes over to me and he leans down and kisses my lips it's short and sweet I show his parents in and to their room and I leave them to unpack their staying for 2 weeks to babysit our dear Arthelia while we go away on a romantic getaway he insists we need time away from her for ourselves it took some convincing but I agreed to go I go back downstairs and he's fixing the living room tv for her I go in the kitchen and begin preparing dinner he walks in after a few minutes and he kisses my head and says we should go to be early tonight we have an early flight I softly say okay he says do you want help?
