Chapter 7

Miracle

"There is no way" I say as i slap my hand over my mouth , unsure how to feel.
"You can take a pregnancy test if you want but from my readings your pregnant Rosie" she tells me with a large smile.
"Pregnancy test... yes I'll do that" i tell her and leave the room.

"THANK YOU" i shout as i run down the stairs.

I head to the closest store and buy multiple pregnancy tests , I also head to the witch shop and get a magic one. It's like a supernatural one.

I enter the compound in hopes of Kol not being in.

"Rose Whats got you in a rush?" Hayley asks as i head straight for the stairs.
"Nothing important" i smile hiding the real reason , the shopping bag is black so I know she can't see inside.
"Whats in the bag?" She asks as she points her finger to the plastic bag in my hand.
"Uh...tampons" i reply quickly , I've not had my period this month and I'm sure she knows that.
"Your not on your period though" she says with a confused tone.
"Gotta be prepared" i laugh awkwardly.
"Anyways I was wondering if you could watch Hope , I've gotta head out with Jackson" she asks as she signals to the baby girl resting on her hip.
"Of course" i smile and hold out my arms ,  she hands me Hope and I rest her on my hip.
"Alright we will see you later"

I rush upstairs carefully with Hope and grab her bouncer from her room , i put the bouncer securely on the bed.

I rush into the bathroom with a small cup and yeah... I pee in the cup.

I walk out and place it on the drawers.

"Don't give me that judgmental look , it's for something important" i tell her.

I sit and dip 4 pregnancy tests into the pee then I sit and wait for a while.

I grow inpatient then down a bottle of water off of my bedside table and run into the bathroom.

Using a different urine sample I use some more tests and set them to wait.

As I wait i impatiently pace around the room , i don't know what I want the result to be. I'm happy with either but I'm not sure if I'm ready yet , i don't know what I'll do if it's positive.

I pull out the pages about the soulmate fertility and read through it again.

Love , am I in love with Kol....?

10 pregnancy tests later and they all show up with the same result.

Positive...

I look over at Hope who has fell fast asleep , tears form in my eyes as I try to stay quiet so I don't wake the baby.

I unstrap her and carry her into her room and carefully place her into the wooden crescent crib.

I rush into Kol's room and drop to the ground against the bed as tears flow down my face.

I pull out my phone and call him , I'm not sure on what else to do.

Kol: "hiya darling- what's wrong!"
Me: "I-I need you to come home"
Kol: "has someone hurt you because I swear to god I will rip their bloody heads off"
Me: "nobody has hurt me baby , please just come home. I need you to come home"
Kol: "I'm on my way"

I put my phone down beside me and wait , tears still falling.

"Sweetheart come here" he opens his arms as he sees me crying on the floor , i rush up and straight into his arms.

My head on his chest and arms around his waist , his chin on my head , one hand on my back and the other in my hair.

"You want to tell me what's the matter?" He asks softly , he then plants a soft kiss on my hair.
I pull away and grab his hand , leading him over to the drawers where all of the positive tests are.

He looks shocked.

Can vampires go into shock?

"Say something..."

"Darling I've never been happier , why are you so upset?" He asks as he examines the tests.
"I'm only 17...I don't know what to do" I look down at the ground.
"How is this possible ?" He asks , i pull out the sheet of old paper and hand it to him , again he looks shocked.

"Darling I will love this baby always and forever and I will be here with you every step of the way. I promise" he smiles down at me softly , his hands gently cup my cheeks and he softly kisses my lips.
"I love you"

Did he-

Did he just say...

I love you?!?!?!

"I-I love you too" i reply , connecting our lips once again. He pulls away and sighs.
"Whats wrong?" I ask as I look up at him.
"Hope is crying , are you babysitting?" He asks as we leave the room and head down to hopes nursery.
"Yeah"

He picks up his niece and gently rocks her to calm her down , I watch as the man I love deals with the baby. He is so gentle with her and calm , it warms my heart every-time I see him with her.

"Your gonna be an amazing dad" i smile as I place my hand on his arm softly , he just smiles at me.

"Uuhhh" i groan in pain as I sit up and curl over on the sofa.
"Whats wrong love ? Are you alright?" Kol asks frantically as he speeds over.
"Kol calm down , she is just cramping. I got it in the dirt few weeks of being pregnant with Hope" Hayley chuckles.
"Oh , wait is she alright ?" He asks as he rubs my back soothingly.
"Yes she will be fine , apart from the actual pain of cramping" she explains.

He puts an arm under my legs and one around my back for support and carries me bridal style upstairs.

"I can walk you know" i laugh as he continues to carry me into the bedroom.
"I know" he smile , he places me down on the bed and puts a pillow over my stomach. He then lays between my legs on rests his head on my belly.
"What are you doing?" I ask , not complaining or anything.
"This used to help with your period cramps , maybe it will help with the baby ones too" he shrugs as he gets comfortable.

I run my fingers through his soft hair whilst he talks softly to our baby.
That is barely anything yet , but it's still a baby just ... like a flower is a seed then grows into an actual flower.

"You know , I only found out yesterday that you were possible and here. Now I can't wait to meet you , can't you come now" he whines.
"Kol it doesn't work like that stupid" i giggle tiredly.
"Shush" he shushes me.

"Mommy isn't very smart , you could come tomorrow for all we know. Your a miracle baby , who knows what your capable of" he talks in a sweet voice.

I just close my eyes and drift off into slumber as Kol talks to my stomach.

I cant believe I'm actually pregnant!

A baby boy or a baby girl?

Mini rose or mini Kol ... imagine a mini Kol , he would have severe anger issues but would be extremely adorable !
