A little while. HA. We had to wait for an hour. His view of a 'little while' is a bit outstretched. I had found a place to sit on the far side of the room. There was a desk with a rolling chair and well...you can't expect me to not sit in a chair like this.

"It's done!" Darien finally announced. I sighed with relief, it was kind of boring just sitting here. I mean, we did talk some, but not enough to overcome my boredom.

"Great!" I exclaim, hopping up from my seat and running over to him. "Is it working?"

"Amazingly so." His eyes were full of excitement and relief.

"Even better. Will that be enough energy to help you?" I ask, tilting my head to the side some, and raising an eyebrow at him.

"Oh, not at all." He replies, shaking his head. "This is not even enough to power a small gun."

"Hm...I could bring you something bigger, with more energy in it." At my suggestion, his eyes brighten and a large smile spreads across his face.

"That'd be wonderful, Miss Cassie."

So, time to start thinking of what that big thing could be...well, possibly a radio? A tv might be helpful, but it's circuits are turned on by electricity through outlets. Oh crap, wait. Home. I have to get home, I have so much homework from algebra it's ridiculous.

"Darien, I need to return home. I'll bring you back the energy later, but I have some things to do." I walk towards the door.

"All right, but promise me you won't tell anyone from your world where you've been, okay?" His eyes searched my own, looking for an answer. I just nodded my head in response, this made the smile return to his face.

"Oh, I have a question." I state, "I received a text earlier..." I take up my, now dead, phone and shove it in my pocket. "Did you send it to me?"

"What's a text?" Well that just answered my question.

"Nothing..." My mind was buzzing with the possibility of someone hunting me down. I could have the police track down the number... That would probably take too long, and they'd be wondering why I needed to find it. I shrug it off, opening the door and heading back to the room that I arrived in. Darien followed close behind.

"Be safe, Cassie." He started up the transport. Nothing happened.

"What's wrong with it?" This can't be happening.

"I-I'm not sure." He began pressing other button and switches, but nothing happened.

"I'm not stuck here, am I?"

"I'm sorry, Cassie, but for now, it looks as if you are." No, no, no. My phone is dead, I'm in a different universe, and I only know one person here. Actually, I've only seen Darien here...
