When I get back to my room, I begin to examine the poster. His eyes look a bit wider. How could an inanimate object move its eyes? It's impossible! Unless it's alive, and that seems impossible, as well.

Sighing, I run my hands through my hair and then look back up at it. My heart stops. Not literally, because that would be pretty awful. Anyway, what I see is Chris Hemsworth's mouth halfway open, as if he was trying to say something. A poster! Am I going mad! Should I tell someone else about this!? Okay. Think, Cassie, think. You can't tell either of your parents, because they wouldn't notice the difference in the poster, due to their not loving Chris Hemsworth as much as me. How do they not, though? I mean, the man is gorgeous!

Back to reality, or at least what was supposed to be reality. Maybe I should try and talk to it? I mean, it wouldn't hurt. I have talked to the poster before...creepy, yeah, but it's worth a shot.

"Ahem," I clear my throat. "Hi, Chris...or poster. Whichever you prefer. I am Cassie! I feel kind of strange talking to a poster, but-" I look up to see his eyes staring straight at me, this causes me to jump back. "You-um-you can hear me??" My eyes widen in astonishment as he starts trying to form a word. "I'm going to take that as a yes?"

"You...are..." The rest fizzles out, aka, I have a horrible time hearing what people are saying when they are that choppy.

"Come again?" I ask.

"You are..a bit...delayed." He finishes, after about five minutes, that is.

"So are you." I reply.

"There isn't...strong connection...where are you from?..." He asks, still extremely cut up.

"I'm from planet earth, like everyone here." I say in a 'duh' tone.

"I...mean..." Suddenly the entire poster returns to normal.

"WHAT THE HECK?!" I yell, I just had a conversation with a poster!!! This was not expected to ever happen in my lifetime!! In anyone's life time!!!!

I hear foot steps running up the stairs, and I turn to see my mother and father standing in the door way, eyes wide with alarm.

"Uh...sorry...?" I say as more of a question than an apology.

"What happened?" Dad asks, worry in his voice.

"We heard you yelling." My mom states, eyes still wide.

"Oh! Yeah! I just..um...stubbed my toe! Yeah, stubbed my toe." I mentally face palm at my lame excuse.

"Oh, okay...well, if you need anything, we'll be downstairs, okay?" Mom looks concerned.

"Yeah. Thanks." I smile nervously and they leave. I quickly turn my attention back to the poster...or is it a poster? Maybe mine is defective. That's always a possibility. "Uh, if you can still hear me, I'll talk to you tomorrow. I need to work on some homework, right now." I announce, standing and walking to my desk. I sit down, pull my books out of my backpack, and start work. Whatever was happening, I still needed to focus on school...sadly.
