I honestly don't like Silverstream... I mean, everyone agrees she disobeyed the Warrior Code and had a mate in another Clan, but did you really have to have kits? It just caused so much unneeded commotion in the Clans, but did make for a great story.
Eventually though, her mistake led to her death. Here are her last words, spoken to Graystripe right after her kits were born:
Goodbye Graystripe, I love you. Take care of our kits for me.
And what Graystripe (stupidly) didn't notice was that HIS KITS WERE ACTUALLY ALIVE. Silverstream actually told him to take care of them, so that proves he wasn't listening to her LOL. After that, a sad Graystripe went moping back to the Clan, then Fireheart was all like, dude what about your kits? And he's like omg they're still alive?!
Well, it may not have gone ever EXACTLY like that, but you get the point...
