1 what inspired the idea of your story?
I love nontraditional endings and wanted to write a story that was realistic and sweet.
2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?
Since each chapter is very structured, it was a challenge to write enough story that was engaging but also not cliche, as well as aiding the plot along.
3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?
I LOVE my characters. It was so fun writing their voices.
4 what's the overall response of your story from your readers?
People seem to really enjoy how unconventional my story is, and everyone loves Earnest (I mean, I can't blame them).
5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?
It's a stand alone novella.
6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?
That it's okay to be unique, embrace all of who you are. Also take risks, even if it doesn't work out enjoy the ride.
7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story?
Just go for it. Write when you don't want to write. Write when you do. Write even though you're not liking what you're writing. You can always go back and fix it.
8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?
I think we are similar in the sense that we are both introverts and sensitive beings. He's a much better driver than me though.
9 what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers?
I think it's unique in how it's structured and that it's not a typical love story.
10 do you have any future projects?
Yes! I'm currently working on my book "Bus Stations" which is set in the same world as "Taxi Service", but completely different characters.
