1 what inspired the idea of your story?
Honestly I thought of it on my own, I know there's lots of motorcycle romances out there but without even reading any of them I was able to create my story line, I mostly made it though because my other two books were more of hate-to-love books and my readers didn't seem to like that much XD so I chose a different route this time.
2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?
Well personally it wasn't the story I struggled with it was more my anxiety, the entire time I wrote the chapters I fought with myself to make sure it was interesting enough to attract readers, the book is a slow burn the first few chapters and trying to make slow burns can be so hard to make interesting! I just felt like all of it was bleh could be better. XD
3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?
I loved writing the girls (Lucy's) POV, mostly because it's in first person perspective and gives the reader the chance to imagine themselves in the shoes of the person. I fantasize every time I write about the scenes where the two main characters are together <3.
4 what's the overall response of your story from your readers?
Well as of today I've received quite a spike in the amount of views I was getting on my book, I think so far people like it! I made sure to add some interesting action in there when the couple isn't busy being romantics!
5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?
For now it's a stand alone novel, but who knows, if anyone likes the cute couple I may create a series for it! ;)
6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?
That love exists everywhere even when you feel like your alone, you're not. Someone out there will love you better than the person who is blind to the beauty inside of you, never settle for less! Know your worth queens and kings!
Another thing is that mental health is a real thing, everyone has their own issues and some may deal with them better than most but everyone needs help sometime or another, even if they don't ask for it.
7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story?
A piece of advice I'd give is- write what makes you happy, even if it doesn't make sense, at least it makes sense to you! There's millions of people on the planet and I'm sure you aren't the only person who loves the things you're into, so don't be afraid to throw ideas out there and pave your own path in the life of authoring!
8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?
In a way yes, Lucille struggles with depression, anxiety and ptsd caused by someone she'd never expect to betray her, her own father, therefore she trusts no one but loves way too hard when she's shown any kind of true affection
9 what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers?
An interesting plot, eccentric characters, good story line and dialogue and lots and lots of action! In all honesty I looked up on google how to attract more readers to my story when I first began writing on Wattpad, most people look at the tags, using them to find stories they like. Tags are a big big part of finding books you like as well!
10 do you have any future projects?
Yes! I'm actually planning on rewriting my book Debts to be paid. But I also have a book under works right now called SIRENS, the description is in my bio!
