1 what inspired the idea of your story?

I have always been a fan of angel/devil stories and I have worked in the delivery industry, so I thought why not combine the two in a humorous novel.

2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?

Setting. As my story is an adventure story, I found myself constantly coming up with different settings and at some point I was running out of ideas.

3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

The vulnerability of my characters. Many characters on Wattpad are seamlessly perfect but mine have acne and fears – and all the sorts that make people human.

4 what's the overall response of your story from your readers?

Although Julane is the main character, everyone finds themselves loving Grandpa Joe and Devlin (the Devil Prince). It's rather funny to be honest with you.

5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?

It is a standalone story.

6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?

That, unintentionally, not paying attention to red flags will make you go through rough times but will make you a stronger person altogether.

7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story?

I have found many writers feel the urge to focus on reads, views, votes and comments to inspire their story. This shouldn't be the case. You must find self-motivation to push you through, not the validation of others.

8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?

Yes, we are both humorous and sassy and don't have that many real friends. However, those who are our true comrades, we are super close with and appreciate to death.

what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers?

The idea of a half-demon being a courier is an interesting concept on its own. Most of my readers are intrigued by that concept.

10 do you have any future projects?

I recently won a romance competition with a short story of mine so I'm thinking romance, but another fantasy will definitely be in the works!
