Chapter 26

(Y/NS POV)//25TH NOVEMBER 2020//

Today was the day I get rid of my cast and I was super excited. The last three weeks haven't been to bad, I'm not a sporty person but not being able to walk around the house or school normally sucks. I can't even work. Daniel comes over talking about Zach and management lately. I feel bad for Zach, I know this Kay stuff has him down. It kinda hurts me too because every time I see Kay all I can picture is her having sex with my boyfriend. All those times I thought Zach was lying but he was telling me truth, all the fights with Liam I pushed off made me hate Kay. I used to like Kay, I thought she was sweet and just miss judged but I understand what everyone was saying.

We are in the car, me and mom.

"So dear you excited?" She asks.

"Very." I smile.

"Yay, I'm excited for you." She claps lightly.

"Will it hurt?" I ask.

I've never broken anything before let alone get a cast off so I was a bit scared.

"No it won't, I mean you'll feel a bit of a tingle that's all." My mom says.

"And when I talk around?" I ask.

"It'll feel weird for a while but trust me once your out of that boot everything with be back to normal." She reassures me.

I nod my head and hum along to the radio when I get a message.

Hey Y/N today's the big day! You'll be walking around in no time, then you'll be walking around the carnival. Zach.

I smile and send him a thank you message.

Hey Zach. I can't wait for the carnival!

I was so happy.

//THE HOSPITAL//

"Y/N Seavey." A nurse says.

My mom and I stand up before walking to the room. I gulp a little before sitting down.

"Hello Y/N." My doctor says entering the room.

My doctor was a middle aged woman, she was nice. She's my mom's doctor too. Her name was Doctor Rebecca Patterson.

"Hey." I smile.

"You ready to take this off?" She asks knocking on my cast.

"I thought you'd never ask." I laugh.

We both laugh.

I lay on a table and she uses a small tool to cut open the cast. Once's it off at first, my ankle becomes sore and I can barely move it. It had been so compact I didn't like it out.

"Y/N it's okay, it'll hurt a bit." She says.

I nod my head. She helps me put the boot on and smiles.

"Now let's see how you walk." She smiles.

Doc takes one of my hands and my mom takes the other. At first putting my foot down feels weird but I get used to it and start to walk around the room. I was super happy.

"I bet your PDHPE teacher will enjoy seeing you walk around." Doc jokes.

She knows the whole story and knows my hate for that women.

"I'm sure she'll wanna okay tackle football soon as I'm back." I laugh a bit.

"Your in great shape for it." Doc laughs. "Anyway if you have any other questions or any other inquiries your all good to go."
