Chapter 37

(Y/NS POV)//14TH FEBRUARY 2021//

I was so glad I was officially his girlfriend, even if it was a secret. We walk back to the car, his arm around me and mine around him.

"So what are we doing now?" I ask him.

"We are going The Ritz-Carlton." He smiles.

My eyes widen.

"That's too much, Zach you're spending to much." I say pushing away from him.

"Beautiful I enjoy spending on you. Seeing you get all cute and defensive about the money makes me smile." He says.

"No Zach it's too much." I shake my head. "If I wanted someone for money I would date someone I didn't care about, I'm with you for you."

"But I didn't want our first night as a couple to be worried about someone coming into the room." He argues. "I just wanted to be us."

"You got to let me pay for some of this." I say to him.

"Your not." He takes my hand and we get into the car.

We get out of the car and Zach gives me a look. I didn't want to be mad so I walked to him and he hugged me.

"Over your complains yet?" He asks.

"Maybe." I say.

"Nope, you are." He chuckles.

I lay my forehead against his chest for a second.

"Come on let's go inside." He says.

We head inside and we walk to the counter.

"Hello, I'm Susan and welcome to The Ritz-Carlton." She smiles.

"Hi, I have booking underneath Zach Herron." Zach says.

"Oh here we are." She smiles at the computer. "Did you two have a nice Valentine's Day?"

"Yes we did." I smile.

"How long have you guys been together? You are so cute." Susan asks, as she puts a card into a scanner.

"Actually I asked her to be my girlfriend tonight." Zach says.

"Oh that's so cute." She says putting her hands together.

"How long have you guys known each other then?" Susan asks taking the card out.

"Almost 5 years." I say.

"Really?" She asks looking at us.

"Yep." Zach says.

"Had cold feet did you?" The lady asks Zach with a smile.

"No, I had her brother to deal with." Zach chuckles.

"Oh so friends little sister." Susan says smiling.

"Try best friend's little sister." I giggle.

"Oh that's so cute, does he know?" She asks handing us the key card.

"No he doesn't." Zach says taking the key card.

"Oh well your secrets safe with me." She laughs. "Your room is (some random room), have a lovely night." She smiles.

"You too." I smile at her.

We walk to the elevator and I smile at Zach.

"Not mad at me now?" He asks.

"No." I say laying my head on his arm.

"Good cause I don't like when you're mad." He smiles.
