Flynn's POV:
I had been fiddling around on my guitar all afternoon, trying to think of what to perform at the ball. I heard footsteps outside of my door, but didn't pause my playing as I assumed it was one of the staff. I sighed as the footsteps faded away and the faint sound of voices eventually dissipated. I walked over to the section of my room that was basically dedicated completely to my art. I opened up my sketch book to the image of Giselle that I had been working on. I grabbed some of my colored pencils and got to work on adding more details to the already intricate drawing.
My door suddenly banged open and I jumped and swung around as I checked to see who entered my room. My heart dropped to my knees as I saw who had just breached the room. "Giselle... what are you doing here?" I asked, my own voice sounding strange and foreign to my ears. She jumped as if just noticing me and said "I'm so sorry, Cass told me the bathroom was this way but she never quite specified which door it was... I'll just go." She awkwardly tried to back out of the room, never letting her gaze leave me which in turn resulted in her tripping over one of my shoes. I rushed over to help her up and my hand touched her arm.
Her skin felt warm and I didn't want to let go. I held on for probably longer than appropriate before I helped her up. "Hey, don't go. I have a bathroom attached and it's much closer than the one all the way down the hall." She glanced up at me then gave me a small smile before heading in the direction I pointed. She was making her way to the bathroom before suddenly made her stop in her tracks.
