Age: Kuroko, 5, Akashi twins, 4

Kuroko was back in his study. Nothing out of place there. He was starting school next year, so he had to study. He pushed back his mother's death to the back of his head. He continued reading the Hiragana characters, bored. He stood up from his chair and walked over to the overlooking window to the backyard below. Seijūrō and Senjūrō were on Yukimaru's back, walking the horse around.
In a corner, Midorima was reading a picture book, his lucky item behind him. Kise and Aomine were going one-on-one in basketball. Kuroko smiled proudly at Kise, who had asked him how to play basketball once he saw the others playing. He was possibly a little under par of Aomine but was putting up a fair challenge.
Murasakibara and Momoi were braiding each other's hair on the other side of the two, in their own little world. Kuroko turned away, closing the curtains and sitting back at his desk to finish off his work. Beside his pile, he saw the twins' pile of work, which Kuroko had kept hidden from them. He needed to sort through that pile...
As Kuroko sorted through the business and schoolwork of the pile, there was a knock on the door. Kuroko straightened the pile and added it to his own. "Come in," he mumbled. The door opened, Seijūrō standing at the door. "Sei-kun? Did you need something?" Kuroko asked his younger sibling.
"Open the curtain, 'Suya," Seijūrō said, glancing towards the curtains.
"Sorry, Sei-kun, but it'll only be a distraction for me." Seijūrō huffed, walking over and opening them anyways. He walked out of the room afterwards. Kuroko sighed, walking over to close them again. He took a moment to stare at the ground. The 6 of them were staring at the window, glad to see it was open again. Seijūrō rejoined the group, and they began playing once more. Kuroko turned away to do his work. If Seijūrō wanted them open, he'd keep them open.
After lunch, Kise was demanding for Kuroko to play with them. "Kise-kun, I still have work to do," Kuroko said. Kise huffed, clinging onto Kuroko's pant leg.
"But Kurokocchi! It's boring without you, and you rarely play with us! Why can't Akashi-san give you less work?!" Kuroko sighed at that.
"I wish I could make him, but he won't listen to me. Listen, Kise-kun. I'm almost finished with my work. Once I finish, I promise I'll play with you and the others." Kise's eyes sparkled as he let go, and instead, clinging to his waist. The blond looked up at Kuroko with sparkly eyes.
"Really?!" Kise yelled. Kuroko made a shushing motion. Kise took the hint, asking once more in a quieter voice. "Really?"
"Mhm," Kuroko nodded. Kise smiled, letting go. Kuroko's heart warmed at the smile.
"Arigatō, nii-san!" Kise bolted away, still smiling and in a better mood. Kuroko realised what he said, but Kise had already disappeared.
"That blond bastard..." Kuroko mumbled, walking away, a smile on his face.
He thought that was that. Then, Murasakibara came into the room. "Kuro-chin, the maids won't get me snacks," Murasakibara sulked as he slumped onto a purple beanbag in the room. Kuroko looked up at the giant.
"How come?" Kuroko asked. Murasakibara shrugged in response, sinking further into the beanbag. Kuroko opened his drawer and threw a bag of potato chips at the giant. The giant's eyes lit up, looking at Kuroko.
"I can have this?" he asked. Kuroko nodded. "Arigatō, nii-san!" Murasakibara yelled out, opening the bag of chips and walking away. Kuroko opened his mouth to say this, but Murasakibara had already disappeared. Kuroko sighed, turning back to his work. This was the second time someone other than the twins had called him 'nii-san'. Though, he didn't hate it. He quite liked the idea of having the other 5 as his siblings.
