Katy POV

I watched the new comers, sensing Dimitri behind me and Stella. I didn't know how to feel. I know he is her mate, yet she let me have him. Rejecting  hurts like hell. I would know. I felt like I was going to die. All those memories of us being together, but Dimitri wanted me. I had Dimitri before I met Kyle. But Kyle...

We were young oh so young. Dimitri was getting the pack from his father. And we were celebrating by the lake. He held me as if I would break in his arms. I was the only thing that mattered in the world to him. The other girls were jealous. I loved to be the only one in his eyes. That was before I meet Kyle. Kyle was the alpha's son of another Pack. He was visiting with his father to visit our alpha. The moment I saw him walking along the side of the lake, my heart stopped.

I couldn't breath, I couldn't move, I couldn't do much of anything till his eye met mine. His eyes were soft honey brown, he had a might shaggy look hair. He.....he was the man of my dreams. He smiled at me, my face flushed with heat and redness. It seem like it was only the two of us, at that moment. Till I felt arms tighten around me, I looked over to Dimitri realizing where I have been this whole time. 

I looked backed at Dimitri, his eyes were the same eyes that Kyle had when he wanted to mark me. If I listen, I might hear him hum as he reached closer to Stella, him baring his teeth. I did the only thing I could. I put my hand quickly on her shoulder as he bite into my hand. I let out a scream, making Stella looked at me. Dimitri moved back quickly, blood dripping down his mouth. I hugged my  hand.  My hand throbbed, but when I looked up. Stella's eyes were different. She backed hand Dimitri with so much force, she sent him flying. 

Star POV

I told myself, I would let Stella live her life. I have been doing this for a very long, long time. I didn't want to control my host life. It was hers. She only gets one. When I can come to another new born pup. Watching Stella, take the lashes. Impressed me. Any other host would try to use my power for their own gain. Being the First Spirit wolf, Is hard. When I am protect of all of our kind. But yet they are all at each other throats, not knowing the real threat is being discover, by the human.

Humans might not have the speed, or the power. But they are smart, and like us they run my emotions and other are just smarter. They have the means to destroy us and the numbers. They over power us 1000 to one, If all of them were to come after us. Watching Stella, all her life. How she handed everything. With each smart ass remark, or every hit she took. Still she never lifted a hand. She only protected those who needed protecting. Even when she thought of herself as weak. When she was the strongest of them all.

Stella's eyes faced Katy, her hand bitten. Stella moved towards Dimirti with blood. Stella couldn't registered it. But I did, I knew what he was doing. He knew Stella was going to rejected him and he was losing control of his own pack. I snapped. Taking over Stella's body with out consent took a lot out of me, but I did what I must. 

Stella's hand stinged as I back handed Dimitri. I sent him flying. When he composed himself, he stood up quickly with rage in his eyes. But I knew his wolf was not angry. This was all Dimitri's doing. I am going to put him in his place. Now and Forever. I charged after him.
