Haytham Kenway
When Edward told you that some Templars were causing trouble around the city, it wasn't a surprise. Templars were always causing trouble around and then running away to point to the Brotherhood when the authorities appeared. But when you arrived at the epicenter of present trouble, you were quite surprised to find the Grandmaster himself.
Which wasn't common, since he usually didn't intervene directly on things, especially when they weren't important for his precious Order.
"Interesting", you said to yourself while you observed from afar.
The Grandmaster was observing how some Abstergo employees were getting some things out of a house and putting them inside a truck. He was his usual self with his very expensive clothes, his rigid posture, and the "I'm the boss" vibes he always gave.
Suddenly, Charlie Lee (more like one of his puppies) approached him. Charlie was his second in command and one of the Templars you hated the most. He is fucking annoying, and he always knows how to piss off Assassins with just a look (Connor is the prime example of that).
Charlie said something to the Grandmaster that you couldn't hear, but it was quite important since he said something to one of the employees and left the scene on foot with Charlie close behind.
You decided to follow them and try to hear something from their conversation, but they kept it low. A few streets later, you had to continue your stalking from the street, so you climbed down with the help of some buildings and when you looked to the street they were walking, you noticed that they disappeared.
Cursing you tried to find them by mixing in the crowd. You were looking at all places, blowing up your cover a little, until suddenly someone grabbed you by the arm and pulled you to an alley and then smashed you against a wall with more force than necessary.
That's when you met the Grandmaster's eyes and his puppy's gun.
You let go of a breath you didn't know you were holding, making it sound more like defeat than frustration.
"For being an Assassin, you're terrible at following people discreetly", he says, using his stupid British accent. It was stupid because you suddenly remembered all those idiots in the Brotherhood that genuinely thought that he is sexy for his accent and some other things that you rather not mention.
In your opinion, he wasn't more than Templar scum and an annoying person with a huge superiority complex.
"Like you are better than me, traitor", you respond, with venom in your tongue but, like always, the Grandmaster was emotionless.
"I can assure you that I am", he sounds quite sure of it and that fucking annoys you more. "However, I'm not here to discuss how terrible my father's Assassins are, I'm here to know why you are following us".
