"You Assassins are too easy to find", you say, arriving at his side while taking a sudden interest in the apples in the food stand he was.

Ratonhnhaké: ton, doesn't say anything but you know that he just made a face that said, "this little shit again, please Spirits grant me patience".

"And you Templars are very predictable", he answers, busy trying to call the vendor's attention.

You roll your eyes and let him talk to the vendor. When he finishes up his interrogation, he turns around and starts walking away, but you are fast to follow paying for an apple that you probably aren't going to eat.

"We aren't predictable, and you know it", you say, walking by his side like it was the most common thing.

"What do you want?", he asks, stopping in the middle of New York to look at you with his normally stoic face. There was annoyance in his eyes, and that made you smirk to your insides.

"Just wanna know how ya doing", you answer, sounding quite innocent.

"Yes, and my father and I have a healthy relationship", he snaps back, and you snorted. He looks annoyed. "What do you really want?".

"I didn't know you could be funny from time to time", he glares at you, and you know for certain that, if glares could kill, you'll be dead by now.

Ratonhnhaké: ton decides at that moment that he had enough of you and that he was going to turn around and keep doing what he was doing.

"Wait, I'm just joking", and he sighs quietly when he hears your rushed steps behind him.

What on the Spirits names he did to deserve this fate?

"Seriously now, though, I need your help. Actually, your father sent me".

At the mention of his father sending you to him for help, he stopped. Mostly for curiosity but also because of confusion.

Has he forgotten that he was an Assassin and that he doesn't simply help people around?

Well, he does help people around but is always for a solemn reason that has to do with his goal.

And that doesn't include helping you.

The enemy.

Slowly, Ratonhnhaké: ton turns around until he is facing you again. His head moves to the side a little and his hands meet in his middle like they always do when he feels uncomfortable, when he listens or when he is cautious about something.

"Why would you say something as absurd as that?"

"I know that it sounds absurd and totally out of character from your father, but if you'll let me explain it will make sense".
