Uhh fun facts about the story and some things that weren't explained in the fic itself bcuz u guys probably won't figure it out and I think it'd be pog to share them!

if hunter hadn't died, he would've had a permanent limp that i wish i had shown more of because when his leg was injured by the selkidomus, the spike hit his peroneus longus which is an important leg muscle that I definitely didn't have to google. then when his leg got infected it further weakened and damaged the muscle tissue.

luz feels like she failed hunter and should've stopped him from hitting the glyph when he betrayed her eda and king. if not then, she feels like she should've tried harder or gotten to the unity ceremony sooner so she could've stopped it. she at the very least regrets just leaving him against the wall.

the reason hunter died from the ceremony is because the spell performed was meant to push his soul out so the titan could inhabit his body instead. this also means he wouldn't have been conscious if the spell went uninterrupted. 

the reason hunter performed magic despite being a powerless witch is because the spell was also meant to charge his body with magic so it could hold the titan without exploding or smth. thats canon to this fic now he wouldve exploded if there wasnt enough magic. if he'd lived it would've faded and been used up after time

The reason it's mentioned that Hunter saw Raine's bard tattoo glowing is because Raine was being mind controlled yuhh. fun times uh belos knew it was on to short notice to replace them so he just mind controlled them instead because hes evil n stuff
