Chapter 3: Cookies and Tears

Percy woke up to the sight of auburn hair. He thought of what happened the night before and couldn't help a small smile appear on his lips.

The raven-haired demigod moved the goddess's hair out of her face and kissed her cheek.

"Wake up Emmi." He whispers softly.

"5 more minutes Percy." she whined, snuggling into his chest. She didn't even register what he called her.

Percy chuckled as he put his arm around her shoulders and started drawing circles on her arm.

"And what about your hunters. You have to be awake before them don't you?"

The goddess sighed as she started to get up, but the demigod pulled her back down onto his chest.

"You said 5 minutes though." He says with a teasing smirk.

After they explained to the Hunters of the previous nights events and what strigoi were, they went back to their normal routines of chores and training.

Percy and Artemis walked through a part of the forest that the Hunters wouldn't accidentally stumble across.

They did this a lot after the Giant War, starting with when he would bring in demigods to her hunt.

They would just walk around, be in each others comfort, hang out, be how friends would be.

"So, Emmi, what's your favourite colour?"

"What?"

"I asked what your favourite colour was."

"No I mean what did you call Me?" Her eyes narrowed slightly.

Percy not really taking her seriously, "Oh! I called you Emmi. Do you like it?"

"Well, that's... new and I guess I don't mind it." She actually loved it but she wasn't about to tell him that.

"Good. But back to the topic. Favourite colour?" He asked again as they walked aimlessly around.

"I guess silver and blue?"

Percy gasped quite dramatically as his head ran with ideas. Then it hit him.

"Have you ever eaten the best cookies it the world?"

"Huh?"

"I'll take that as a no."

He grabbed her hand and vapour traveled to his mom's apartment.

"Percy, where are we?" the goddess noticed they were in an apartment building.

"We're at my place," He said casually, "it's technically my mom's but like, you get the idea." He got out his house keys and unlocked the door.

The moment the door opened her nose was attacked with the sweet smell of something baking.

"MOOOOM! I'm hooooome! And I brought someone with Me!"

The silver-eyed goddess giggled at his childishness. Adorable

They made their way into the kitchen to see a plates filled with cookies and even more in the oven. Artemis noticed that they were...blue?

A beautiful woman with soft brown hair and ocean blue eyes turned around upon hearing her son entering the kitchen.

She exclaim his name name and immediately brought him into a hug. Artemis was a bit taken aback when Sally pulled her into a hug, but hugged back getting a weird motherly and caring feeling from the kind woman she just met.
