Chapter 2: Emmi and Alli

●3rd Person POV●

It wasn't long until he found her. The daughter of Aphrodite was running for her life, screaming for help, from two strigoi. She was covered in bruises and cuts from her abusers. Her kaleidoscope (of blues) eyes were filled with tears.

She saw Percy and immediately ran to him, crying uncontrollably. "P-please, please, help me-me. I-I don't. I don't know w-what's happening. There's these things. They are really really s-scary. Please, Mommy said that you're Percy and that your my hero."

Percy uses a soft, brotherly and protective tone that only the newest campers and hunters have heard, "Hey, it's okay. I'm here now and I'll take you somewhere safe, okay? Yes, my name's Percy. What's yours?"

"My name's Allison."

Right now they were running, the strigoi was atleast a miles behind them. Percy was carrying the twelve year old on his back, discretely healing her.

Percy was nearing the Hunters camp that was 5 miles from camp because they couldn't stand the males. He was about 1 mile away when the strigoi started catching up. He could see them, they were 2 miles away but they are fast.

He took Allison off his back and quickly explained that her mom was Aphrodite and that he was going to take her to his friend.

Percy kissed ger forehead and spoke softly, "Okay Alli, you're going to have to run, scream for help. My friends camp is right about a mile that way okay. She has stunning silver eyes and beautiful aurbun hair, her name is Artemis. But say Lady Artemis, it's respectful 'k. Just keep running. Everything will be explained. I'll promise I'll see you." He didn't know why he felt such a close connection with Allison but he did. And he would do anything to help her.

"Okay Percy, I love you big brother." She gave him a tight hug and he returned it. Then she ran.

And she screamed.

She ran all the way to the Hunters camp. She looked behind her and saw atleast 20 strigoi.

She ran faster.

Allison broke into the clearing and screamed, "Lady Artemis help please, Percy-Percy. There's so many of them. You have to help him please."

Artemis was by her side in an instant."Where is he? What is there so many of?"

"He's about a mile that way and I don't know what those things were."

"It's okay your safe here. Thalia! Tell her about us. I'm going to help Percy."

"Yes m'lady."

●Percy POV●

I was burning with rage. How could anyone possibly abuse a young child like that! Or anyone for gods sake. Seeing Alli hurt like that reminded me of the first mission I got from Aunt Hestia.

(Flashback start)

He was somewhere in San Jose (I don't live in America so idk if any of these will be accurate or not.) looking for the house the girl was in. He had a caduceus charm that would blink faster the closer he got to the daughter of Hermes.

He was walking in the shadows of the battered down neighborhood, When he heard a scream and what sounded as glass shattering. He immediately rushed to an old and rundown house where the scream came from.

Percy walked up to the door and knocked. He was told that this was a human trafficking situation and that the "boss" was supposed to pick up a girl.
