He looked into the mirror, his appearance reflecting in his eyes. He's never had this much of this emotion before. Sure he always had love and hope but never this much relief.

He was happy and he loved how things were now, safely content. It was the essence of freedom that gave his relief a twist.

He was most of all happy about his life at the moment, besides the relief. Happy didn't even do it justice. He has the best girl he could ask for. The one who truly does understand him. The one that broke down her walls and beliefs for him.

Percy Jackson was lucky, atleast that is what he told himself. He got off the hook this time luckily because he had the best cousin and friend ever.

"Ha! I knew it!" They heard two voices speak from inside the closed cabin.

Percy and Artemis scrambled away from each other, though they stayed sitting next to each other really closely, blushing furiously at being caught.

Piper smirked at them, "Oh please, do go on. We didn't mean to interrupt- what ever this is"

"Yes we did. We totally did."

Piper and Percy sent Thalia an exasperated look.

Percy started,"Okay, this is exactly what it looks like..."

"We can see that."

Percy nodded, "and so you can see we were busy can you too please kindly leave?" He asked sarcastically.

Artemis slapped his shoulder slightly, "Don't be rude."

Percy pretended to be offended as he grabbed his heart, "Ow! I'm wounded. I thought you loved me." He said dramatically.

Artemis giggled and kissed his nose which left him dazed for a moment.

Thalia smirked, "Oh he's so whipped. We should've known that at the beach was enough proof."

Artemis and Percy's head snapped to them. "What do you mean?" They asked scarily in unison.

"You guys actually ended up kissing for like 3 minutes than the 5 seconds you thought."

"And you didn't say anything!?"

"Yeah you both also got into your own world," Piper explained.

"You, Artemis, were pinned against a tree before he put you back down and you pulled away..." Thalia continued.

The demigod hero's eyebrows furrowed, "Did you say that when we kissed it was actually longer than we thought it was?"

"Yes, Percy, we just said-"

"Oh, so I wasn't wrong. Oh shit. This isn't good. Oh gods, why me? Why me?"

The two girls looked at him confused, while Artemis understood, having him already told her.

"Throw something at me."

"Percy what-"

"Just throw something!"

"Okay, jeez."
