The man dropped to the ground with his eyes still wide open, I let out a gasp and pinched Newts arm by accident. "Ouch!" Newt yelped looking at me his brows knitted, "oops sorry" I say trying my hardest not to laugh.
Brenda came out of the shadows and signalled to us to follow her, we obeyed as we don't really have another choice. While we were jogging to try and find away out music started playing, I looked at Newt confused; not that it helped as he was just as confused as I was. Typical us.
We met Jorge on the other end of the building and we was standing next to a zip line, I can hear men shouting behind us and gunshots going of. I examine the zip line and notice that it leads outside right to the other side of the building, "come on let's go!" Jorge says while grabbing onto one of the ropes that hang on the zip line and he pushes himself of the roof clinging onto the rope. I look at newt as to say 'it's our turn isn't it?' He nods and he helps me wrap the rope securely around my wrist. He gives me a slight push and I glide of the floor, the wind in my hair. I felt free.
I look to my right as bright lights flash at me, it was the helicopter that Janson was in. I finally make it to the other side of the building and turn my head around quickly to see Newt not so far behind me. He reaches the ground and holds me in his arm, I could smell his signature scent. A smile revealed itself on my face. "HURRY UP THE SONG IS ALMOST OVER" Jorge screams at the others; next to come down was Minho. "WEEEEEE" he screams as he comes soaring towards us at rapid speed, I could see in the corner of my eye Jorge sighing as he presses his hand on his head. Teresa came down next, her hair was going everywhere as she was screaming.
Once Teresa made it to where we were all of us look up at Thomas and Brenda but they were coming down they we still up there talking. Suddenly Brenda made a run for it and Thomas followed her, I could see in Teresa's eyes that she was worried and a bit jealous as it was obvious that she liked him. I felt for her as I knew that something was going on with Thomas and Brenda. "Oh for god sake!" Jorge says with an annoyed manner as he pastes back and fourth panicking, "come on guys we have got to go the song is practically over!" Jorge says as he starts jogging to a door. Newt grabs me by the hand and we follow him, I wish I had brought a hair band with me as my hair was notty and was in my face. We sprint past loads of men with masks on that were firing guns, we had to try and sneak past them which wasn't easy as everything was happening all at once as the music was playing and for some reason if it stops then that's bad or something and everybody was shouting at everyone.
I felt like I was hyperventilating as this was so overwhelming! I look behind us and see two men running after us and shooting in our direction thankfully missing us, at this point I was preying for our lives. I would never have thought that I would start preying as I am not really religious but at this point I am desperate.
