My eyes slowly open it turns out I had fallen a sleep on Newts lap in a truck, with people I don't remember. I move my hair out of my face as my grip tightened on Newts hand, I look at him and he smiles at me; making me blush! However, it didn't last long when I looked down at my ripped, once white shirt now dark red. I look out the window to see endless deserts with mountains and dried up bushes, such a sorry sight.

We finally make it to what looks like a sanctuary where there were tents up and hundreds of people gathered with smiles on their faces. It calmed me down knowing that there were some people out there that were happy, and to finally see them was the highlight of my day... amongst other things of course. I held Newts hand as we started walking towards them, we could hear the indistinct chattering of the people. "They've been planning this for over a year now" Harriet said as she led us closer to everyone, "this is all for us" she looked back at us smiling.

"You guys are lucky you found us when you did... were moving out at first light" Sonya said looking at Aris. I have no idea why Sonya was so familiar she looked like someone I knew but I just couldn't put my finger on it, it got me really frustrated the more I thought about and the fact that I couldn't stop thinking about it. "Where's Vince?" Sonya asked a random guy.

My knees started to shake as I could feel the colour drain from my face, I grabbed tightly of Newts hand as my legs were about to give up. I glance down at my ribbed t-shirt, blood gushing out of the side of my stomach. My breathing became deeper, I could tell I was loosing blood. Newt new instantly that I was okay and he wrapped his arms around me trying his best to comfort me, i used up my last bit of strength and smiled at him. I cannot describe the pain that I felt.

Sonya and Harriet led us through a crowd of people, happy, smiling and happy people. I envy them. "Who's vince?" Asked Thomas, I wandered the same thing, was he popular amongst the people here?
"He's the one to decide whether you can stay" Harriet answered, I started to feel nervous. What if he thought I had got bitten?
"I thought the right arm was supposed to be an army?" Asked Minho typically opening his big mouth whenever he had the chance.

"Yeah we were... this is all that's left of us" a man said walking no towards us. He had to be at least 6 feet tall, and had a muscular/dad body. His hair brushed back and had a beard covering only his chin. He continued; "a lot of good people died getting us this far". He finally reached us and stood confidently in-front of us.

My vision started to get blurry and I kept on feeling like I was going to black out when ever I moved. I had a bad feeling about what was next to happen. I could hear Harriet and Thomas faintly speaking but my hearing was starting to fade, I tried to look healthy but I knew that it was pointless. Finally my knees gave way and I collapsed unable to move my weak body. I was screaming inside.
