I laid on the ground next to Alice, watching the clouds float by with my hand brushing hers when suddenly I swallowed wrong and ended up coughing. Yup, I sure knew how to ruin the moment.
"Whoa, you okay?" She asked, sitting up. I sat up, too, and managed to get control of my coughing fit.
"Yeah, I'm good. Sorry." I mumbled. She chuckled and wrapped her arms around my stomach as she leaned into me.
"Hiccup!" I felt my eyes widen as I blushed.
She pulled away and looked up at me, confused for a moment. Then, she burst out laughing. I glared at her and hiccuped again.
   "Jerk." I muttered, hiccuping again.
She quieted her laughter and leaned over, kissing me slowly. I kissed her back, my brain losing track of everything but her sweet, cold kiss. When she pulled away, she smiled up at me like she was waiting for something.
   "What?" I asked, puzzled.
   "No hiccups." She pointed out.
I laughed and grabbed her shoulders gently, pulling her into another hug. "Thank you, babe."
