Tracy's dressing room was the last place she wanted to be. It had already been mostly packed up, only her necessities for the show still there. On the table there was a hair curler, makeup, and her satchel. (Tracy wasn't like other girls. She carried a satchel like her dads instead of a purse.)

The only reason she was still there was because she needed to get changed for the cast party. She always enjoyed these. They didn't host them for every show, but at least once a month. And this one would be the biggest one yet, since it was the last one.

She adjusted the necklace she was wearing so that the clasp was at the back of her neck (it was something that always bothered her; Perra made fun of her for it) and let out a sigh.

I look good, she thought. She knew when she looked hot; being humble was for when you were around others. Her dress was ankle-length and was made of the most beautiful shade of olive green, with gold embroidery in an astrological design around the hem, waist, and neckline. Her dad (Kurt) had designed it himself.

She grabbed her phone, slipped it into the discreet pocket of her skirt, and made her way to the limo that would take her to the party.

Perra arrived to the cast party in the nicest thing she owned, which was a golden sheath dress with a square neckline that nicely displayed a beautiful but simple necklace, the charm a single dark green gem. Tracy had given it to her for her 15th birthday.

The party was being hosted at a beautiful park, and there were pretty lights strung throughout the branches. There were beautifully dressed people everywhere, and the table setting were nearly as perfect as the people sitting at them. Perra scanned the park until she saw a familiar head of wavy dark brown hair make her way out of a limo.

"Tracy!" she smiled and ran to her best friend. Tracy looked...absolutely perfect. Perra didn't even hear what Tracy had said to her.

"Hello?" Tracy said. She chuckled.

"Haha, sorry about that. My brain is all over the place," she said.

"It's fine." Tracy linked arms with Perra and they walked to the huge table covered in food."So, what do you think you'll do now?" Tracy asked her.

Perra didn't know what to say. She couldn't stand the idea of her best friend moving and leaving her to figure out her own life. "Drop out of school, maybe start a gang for abandoned theatre kids," she said with a forced laugh. She did mean it as a joke; she'd never survive in a gang. But she couldn't find the spirit to laugh.

Tracy did laugh, genuinely. And loudly. Her face turned a bit red, as it did when she laughed. Perra would miss that.

They'd each filled a plate of sweets and sat down together by a tree far from the older people who were already getting into the wine and champagne.

Perra watched as the lights shone against Tracy's blue eyes. They were the prettiest eyes she'd ever seen. She always felt guilty for feeling this way about Tracy. She'd told her before that she was aromantic; she wasn't interested in being in romantic relationships. Perra just had to find a way to be honest with Tracy, without scaring her away or ruining things.

Just when she was about to say something, anything to make sure Tracy didn't suspect anything out of the ordinary because of her silence, she heard a gasp from her friend.

Tracy didn't think today could become any more crazy and amazing, but it just did. Because, standing nearly 15 feet away from her was her idol and muse, Taylor Swift.

She nearly stumbled on her way over to where Taylor was standing, her brain not functioning properly. She could feel how red her face was turning; this is so embarrassing, she thought. And then there she was, standing in front of Taylor Swift, not knowing how to start a conversation.

Luckily, the goddess before her beat her to it.

[I don't know exactly how 2036-Taylor would actually talk or act, so I'm just using my knowledge of her and trying my best to write this interaction.]

"Tracy, hi!" Her smile was radiant, the most beautiful thing Tracy had ever seen. She could barely get out a "Hi, Taylor."

"When I heard about your show, I couldn't wait to see it! I reached out to your dads asking if they'd be okay with me there, because I didn't want to take away from your spotlight, and they told me that they'd reserve a seat for me at your last show, and invited me to the after party so I could meet you!" Taylor seemed so excited to meet her, Tracy couldn't believe it. Was her idol star struck...by her?

"Oh my god..." Tracy's eyes were teary. She couldn't believe this was happening to her. It felt like a dream. Without thinking, she hugged Taylor. It was the best feeling in the world. Tracy was only 5"4 (she could thank her dads and her surrogate, Rachel Berry, for that), so her head rested on Taylor's chest. She could hear her heartbeat. Taylor wrapped her arms around Tracy and giggled happily. Tracy didn't question this; she knew Taylor loved meeting her fans.

Perra fainted the moment she saw Taylor. She awoke to see her hugging Tracy with a huge smile on her perfect face. Oh, great, she thought. My two biggest crushes hugging each other. She debated whether she should do over there, but she knew she'd just break down crying. She didn't wanna ruin this for Tracy. Maybe she'd talk to Taylor later on in the party.

Tracy knew she'd barely be able to remember tonight. It was like a fever dream. So, as she got into the limo that would take her and her dads home, she made sure to write down every detail she could cling onto before it left her brain. She did this often, which was why she had so many notes in her phone.

When they got home, Tracy couldn't help but smile as she cleaned off her makeup and released her hair from the prison of clips and braids it was in.

[This is Glee, and what would Glee be without it's unrealistic musical performances? So, here's a midnight duet of Enchanted by Taylor Swift. If you don't know the song, I recommend listening to it to enhance your reading experience!]

Tracy, undoing her hair and cleaning off her makeup, thinking about the party and meeting Taylor:
Your eyes whispered "have we met?"
Across the room your silhouette starts to make it's way to me.
The playful conversation starts
Counter all your quick remarks, like passing notes in secrecy.
And it was enchanting to meet you
All I can say is I was enchanted to meet you...
Tracy stands up from her vanity and twirls around her room, unable to contain her happiness:
This night is sparkling, don't you let it go.
I'm wonder struck, [flashback to her in the limo on the way home] blushing all the way home.
I'll spend forever wondering if you knew
I was enchanted to meet you.

Perra is in her own house a few miles away and is sitting on her bed, scrolling through selfies of her and Tracy from that night:
The lingering question kept me up
Two a.m., who do you love?
I wonder till I'm wide awake.
She begins pacing her room, toying with the necklace she still hasn't taken off:
Now I'm pacing back and forth, wishing you were at my door.
I'd open up and you would say "hey."
It was enchanting to meet you.
All I know is I was, enchanted to meet you...

Both Tracy and Perra, in different houses, thinking about different things, are singing at the same time:
This night is sparkling, don't you let it go.
I'm wonder struck, blushing all the way home.
I'll spend forever wondering if you knew...
This night is flawless, don't you let it go.
I'm wonder struck, [focus just on Perra, frowning] dancing around all alone.
[Back to alternating between them] I'll spend forever wondering if you knew
I was enchanted to meet you.

Now Tracy is singing alone, smiling in her bed with a polaroid of her and Taylor in her hands:
This is me praying that this was the very first page,
Not where the story line ends.
My thoughts will echo your name, until I see you again.
Perra is crying lightly, hugging her pillow. [Her and Tracy are now both singing, but we're focused on Perra]:
These are the words I held back, as I was leaving too soon
I was enchanted to meet you.
