Delilah fell back to the floor, and grabbed her hair. She felt as though she were sick, and puke would burst out her if she gave it the chance. She tried to crawl towards the door. She tried. And she tried. And she tried some more. It was almost painful to even feel herself like this.

She fell limp by the door, and winced; she wasn't herself and everything made her so annoyed right now, she just wanted to rip someone's eyeballs out.

She got back up tearfully and ran in the warm house, her kingdom. The sudden temperature changed made her get a chill, however she continued to run. She knocked on her own door out of habit, then opened it; twisting the golden knob that was awfully dainted and stained.

Some rust gets on her hands, however she gives it no mind. She hides under her pillow and screams. Then she heard the door.

——

Aska opened the door, some of the golden paint rubbing off the knob. He saw Delilah hiding under her pillow and frowned. He was nervous as though she were hurt.

He ran to her side and sat next to her on her bed.

"Delilah...." Aska ruffles her short bob and hugs her tight. He might not act like it but he loves her. He just wants to protect her, however that won't work in the end and he knows that. "Delilah, what's wrong..."

"Promise me you won't lie! Everything is shit and we are all gonna die eventually! Just let me have you please!" She wailed out, hiding her face in his shirt now.

His shirt was wet from tear stains, and he smiled softly. "I promise," he lied, as he crossed his fingers behind his back.

What a liar. Maybe if he hadn't lied she'd still... never mind... you'll figure this all out soon enough, I suppose.

——

Delilah was now as happy as a fiddle, assuming her dearest brother had actually promised. They were hanging out at the moment, as he pushed aside his duties for the day to hang out with her.

Why did I lie...
Because you want her to die.

Aska gasped hiding his face.

No I don't! What the hell man?!
Liar~

Liar. He was a liar, but not in that aspect. Was he..?

"Aska! Come on! Help me climb the tree!" Delilah laughed out as she pulled him to the great and infamous tree.

Aska smiled and put her on his shoulders, her stepping on his back a few times; gaining grunts from him. "Weak!" Delilah joked, sarcastically.

Aska threw her in the tree, quite literally, and laughed at her. Delilah didn't like his sense of humor.

——

Aska was crying in his room, he couldn't ignore the note, could he. It was a big threat. It was a threat to the whole kingdom. To be in possession of this without anyone else knowing was wildly inappropriate of him.

Hiding the note in his pocket, he hicced, most likely from the tears straining his throat. His door creaked as he saw his little sister walk in.

"Aska... asky...?" She frowned, tears begging to escape just from the sight of her eldest brother crying. Yet she stared, she stared as though her life depended on it.
