Namjoon folds his notebook as the team spreads out through the meeting room's door. He is one of those employees who doesn't spare time to look back after the day has been ended. His work ends at 5 PM every day. So, no more chattering around the office. He always comes home immediately. Because it's the time to spend with his boyfriends.
Humming through the hallway like a blue canary, Namjoon can't wait for Hoseok to steer the wheels towards the parking lot. He can't wait to pass the bushes isle Hoseok and him planted, before greeting the plum blossom bonsai he waters every morning by the front door.
Normally, Namjoon will be the first one who arrives at home, then Hoseok shortly after. He will simply clean the house and take a shower while waiting for Hoseok. Hoseok will knock the bell with his elbow because both of his hands will be occupied by grocery bags. And with his damp hair, Namjoon will open the door to help him. Their food will be ready once Yoongi turns off the stove at around 7.30 PM. But, today, while Namjoon glances at his watch which is still points at 5.15 PM, a single message comes in from Yoongi.
I'm home. I'm preparing for dinner now. Come home quickly. Be careful.
And Hoseok also sends him a message, saying he's already outside.
Right. There's no reason not to get excited. Yoongi's first album will be available on the music streaming platforms tonight.
"NAMUUU! Still look as fresh as the moment I dropped you off this morning, don't you? Why? Not much work today?" Hoseok greets cheerfully as Namjoon hops in the car. He slowly presses the gas and cautiously navigates the car out of Namjoon's office area. His sleeves are rolled up, making him look chicer with that A Lange & Söhne spring watch collection on the wrist.
