It's cloudy today. The drizzle starts to pour when Yoongi gets up from the bed. He glances at his left and right but he's the only one who's on the bed. The two men he hugged to sleep last night are not there. The painting, the sticky notes, and the LED lamps are also gone. He wonders why.
Still feeling cold from the air, Yoongi walks out of the room only to find the living room is covered in a foil fringe curtain and LED lights. The iridescent rainbow colour is shimmering as the low amount of sunlight can still enter the room through the transom, making the whole room pretty. There's a stool chair being set up in front of the TV, facing the couch. And then, there's Hoseok who just comes back from the outside, his overall body looks wet.
"Hoba! Where have you been? Isn't it raining?" Yoongi approaches Hoseok, ignoring the strange view of the living room. His gaze is locked at the tote bag Hoseok is holding. "What's this? Did you do grocery shopping alone?" he asks because Namjoon is there sitting on the living room's floor, preparing something that Yoongi still doesn't know what.
"Hi, hyung! You finally woke up!"
"Huh? What is this for?" Yoongi pulls out a hammer from the bag.
"Oh, that one. You said you wanted to hang the painting properly, right? Our hammer is gone since a long ago, so I just went out buying a hammer."
"What? Alone?"
"Yeah."
"Did you go there on foot?"
"Yeah, and I didn't know it'd rain," Hoseok chuckles. "Glad that the rain started when I was just five houses away."
Yoongi frowns, worried. "Why did you have to go this early? It's Saturday and I think no need to rush anything? I can buy it by myself later. And what's this for?" Yoongi turns around, pointing at the prettified living room. "Are we having a party? It looks like a backdrop you use at a party."
Namjoon turns his head around—feeling called—and Hoseok giggles. "That's right! We're having something today, but it's not a party. You'll sing for us, hyung," Hoseok says as he takes his towel and walks to the bedroom, gonna clean himself.
"What? Me? Sing? Why?" Yoongi glances at the stool near where Namjoon sits. "Is it why the kitchen's stool is there?"
"Yes!"
"But is that the gift for today? I'm singing for you? Why does it sound like I'm giving you a gift," Yoongi chuckles. He walks closer to Namjoon while Hoseok enters the bathroom. He joins Namjoon on the floor and watching him cutting art papers. His album cover artwork is printed on several pieces of paper.
"Our gifts are never ordinary, hyung," says Namjoon. "Rather than things, we like giving you experiences you'd never get from anyone else."
He's right. Yoongi slightly smiles.
"And now, since your love and passion for music is strong, hyung, we want you to be able to freely express your interest in music by singing it out loud. You have a great voice, a great album. You're an astronaut but you're also qualified for a singer. You've been writing lyrics since you were in college as a hobby. And even today, when it comes to doing something for your music, you've always been doing it inside your home studio. We never got a chance to hear it properly, live. So, we want to give you an opportunity to show it, not just the album physically but also your hidden talents. Just think of this as your first mini-concert, and we're here watching you sing as your very first audience. What do you think? You'd like to sing your album for us? Your first tour, hyung." Namjoon's face is too close to Yoongi's that Yoongi just wants to kiss him straightforwardly.
