"Goodbye, Natalie! Bye, Logan! Bye, Owen! Chloe! You did great, see you tomorrow. Zoey, your bag's not properly zipped. Your things are gonna scatter out. Here—wait, let me do it for you. Okay, here you go. Be careful, have a nice day!"

"Thank you, Mr. Jung!"

"Mr. Jung, you look so happy today. Are you going on a date?" asks the blonde boy as it's his turn to do a high five with Hoseok.

Hoseok blushes, pointing at himself. "Me?"

"Yes! You have a girlfriend lately, don't you? I know you do," the boy says shyly.

"Ssh, Grayson! It's his private thing. Don't ask something like that."

The blonde boy, Grayson, turns around to his friend at the next line and pouts. "Why? I love seeing Mr. Jung randomly smiling through the day!"

Because there are still some students behind him waiting to get out of the class, Hoseok cuts in before the argument goes too far. He laughs and grabs the boy's hands. "Ahahaha, it's okay! You read me so well, didn't you?"

"So, you really do?" The pout's gone, replaced by a wide, exciting grin.

"Yeah, I do. I'm celebrating something with them today."

The boy's eyes widen a little bit. "Them? It's not one?"

"No," Hoseok smiles.

"Why?"

"Uhm," Hoseok pauses, trying to find some perfect but simple words to explain which a 9-years-old kid will understand. "Because our love is too much and we're agreed to love each other equally?"

With his twinkling eyes, the boy gasps. "That's so sweet! I want to love someone too!"

Hoseok chuckles. "Thank you. You will someday. But, for now, aren't you going home first? The bus is waiting outside," he glances at the queue, seeing the other students are getting impatient.

"Ah, right. Goodbye, Mr. Jung! Hope your date goes well! Tell us tomorrow, we want to heaaaar~" His voice fades away as he darts outside the class. The only thing Hoseok can do is smiling from ear to ear. How cute. Deep down inside, at some points, he also wants a kid at home.

"Mr. Jung, I have something for you," the last kid in line says. It's the red-headed Abigail who Hoseok remembered she wasn't the last one before. Maybe she swapped her position, so she wouldn't make anyone wait.

"What it is?" Hoseok bends down, so now he's at her eye level. She hides her hands on the back.

"Do you prefer red or purple?" she asks, out of Hoseok's expectation. Hoseok looks at her in slight confusion. "What it is about?"

The little girl shakes her head playfully. "I can't tell you. You choose first."

"Oh, okay..." Hoseok thinks for a moment. "Purple?"
