Chapter three. Party/ and pizza maybe not a good mix?

Penelope and Alyssia walked to the checkout counter and bought both shoes.

“Alright let’s go find the others.” Alyssia said grinning.

“Ok!” Penelope said walking with her.

“How much was that?” Penelope said to herself looking at the receipt while still walking.

“I expected it to be more. 80 bucks isn’t bad there are some really expensive shoes here.” Penelope thought.

She caught up with Alyssia.

“Do you know where they are?” Penelope asked Alyssia.

“No I don’t see them wait…There they are”

“Come on we got to go before they get on the elevator.” Alyssia said dragging Penelope along with her.

So Penelope ran. She heard that she got a text so she looked at her phone. She looked at it as she caught up with her other friends.

Hey Hun I just wanted 2 tell u thanx 4 leavin a note so I wouldn’t b worried.

Penelope chuckled at her mother’s text.

“Are you coming??” Alyssia asked Penelope while they were standing in the elevator waiting.

 “Yeah.” She answered as she walked into the crowded elevator.

They stood there about to hit the button but a young man said, “Wait please hold the door for me I’m late!”

“Ok.” Alyssia said gesturing towards the elevator.

“What floor?” Penelope asked as she hovered over all the buttons with her pointer finger.

“4 please?”

Penelope accidentally hit the number 5 button instead.

“Oops!!” Penelope said putting her hand over her mouth.

“What?!?!” The young man asked anxiously.

“I hit the wrong button.” Penelope said.

“No!! Darn it what am I gonna do now!” He yelled.

“I’m sorry.” Penelope said.

“Oh well!! So where do you work??” Marissa asked picking at her nail polish and getting the shavings of them all over the young mans shoe.

“Uh The Shoe Palace and I’m not working there it is an interview.” He said angrily shaking his foot to get the nail polish pieces off.

“Oooh We were just about to go there weren’t we girls?” Marissa asked.

“Yeah.” Everyone murmured uncomfortably.

“Oh well great.” He said sarcastically while rubbing through his spiky brown hair.

After a long wait the elevator doors finally opened.

They all got out letting the young man go first because he was 15 minutes late.

There was a Tall man standing in the Shoe Palace door way tapping his foot waiting for the young man.

The girls decided not to go to The Shoe Palace because they saw how mad the young man was and the older man.

So they got back into the elevator. When they got out they bumped into Lora.

“What are you fools still doing here?” Lora asked after bumping into Penelope.

“Shopping like everyone else Duh.” Penelope said.

Penelope was always able to stand up to Lora. Alyssia and Marissa never did they just said Yeah... To anything mean Penelope said to Lora.
