Chapter 4:
Penelope woke up the next morning to Sammy shaking her.
“Penelope wake up Alyssia’s here.”
“Alyssa? What is she doing here. It’s seven.” Penelope said looking at her alarm clock.
“I don’t know she just said that she wants to talk to you.”
“Did you let her in??”
“Oh was I supposed to??”
“Sammy?!?”
“What?”
“She’s my best friend and you didn’t let her in?” Penelope yelled.
“I was kidding she is waiting downstairs.”
Alyssa came up into Penelope’s room.
“Did you get her up yet?” Alyssa asked.
“What are you doing here so early Alice?” Penelope said.
“What do you mean?? The last time the time changed you never set your clock to the right time it’s really 8 so it’s not that early.”
Penelope rubbed her eyes.
“Alright. I’ll be right down.”
“Yay!!” She yelled as she pulled Sammy with her before closing the door.
Penelope grabbed her clothes and put them on.
“Come on hurry up!!” Penelope heard Alyssa yell.
“I’m coming.” Penelope groaned.
“Look.” She said excitedly pointing at her lap top
“Where is my mom and dad?”
“They left the minute I got here.”
“Where did they go?”
“Grocery store they said all you guys had was leftover pizza in the fridge.”
“Did you ask them to get me some gum?”
“Yeah.”
“Thanks.”
“Sit down hurry.”
Penelope sat down and looked at her laptop.
“What am I looking at.” Penelope asked.
“urcuteletsgoout.com” Alyssia answered.
“What?? Your using a dating site??”
“Yeah it’s working really well. Listen to this one guys comment.
Hey, My name is Harold I think your cute let’s go out. That was from a 40 year old. EEWWWW!!!!!! Next one.” Alyssia said.
"Hello, my name is Weston. You’re pretty cute and you look really good for your age. That was from a 43 year old GROSS.” Alyssia said.
“What the heck Alyssia!!!!”
“What??” Alyssia asked absentmindedly.
“You wrote that you were 100 years old??” Penelope yelled.
“AHHHHHHHHHH!!! NO!!! I didn’t do that.” Alyssia screamed.
“Then who did Alice?” Penelope asked.
“I guess the reason why it says that is that all sites say that at the beginning of using that site.” Alyssia said.
“Oh well you better fix it Alyssia before the oldest man alive comments on your favorite things.”
“Ok!!” She said as her eyes got huge.
She quickly hit 18 on her age.
“Ah that’s better.” Alyssia said happily sighing.
“Why are you showing me this??” Penelope asked.
“I want you to try it.”
“What? Are you nuts? You know I don’t believe in….. Love.” Penelope said grossing out.
“Come on please??” Alyssia begged.
“No.”
“Just give it a try??? For me???” Alyssia begged again.
“No I can’t you know why I didn’t ever date anyone after 15..”
“Please I’m sorry about that but it won’t happen again.” Alyssia said patting Penelope on the back.
“Yeah but what if you're wrong??”
“I’m not trust me come on please try it? PLEASE??????” Alyssia begged Penelope.
“Fine just stop your whining.” Penelope said angrily.
Penelope sat down and signed up for the dating website.
“This is gonna be great.”
“Yeah sure it is.” Penelope sighed.
