Chapter ten. The new guy on the dating site

Chapter 10:

Three months later……

Penelope was sitting on her bed talking with someone she met on the dating site.

His name was Connor.

PrincessP92: Hey Connor.

Connor was very sweet, funny and romantic. Penelope liked him a lot. She talked to Lucas a lot too because he was her best friend she liked Lucas she just didn’t like him in the same way. Or if she did it wasn’t as much as Connor.

Connor was 18, he loved football, and he loved spending time with his friends, he also loved to sing and dance. From what he said to Penelope he was good at it too.

For some reason though he never wanted to video chat with her. Why? Penelope would think to herself. Is he ashamed of himself?

No don’t think that’s possible because he seemed proud of himself. Penelope thought.

Penelope giggled at what Connor had typed to her. Even though it wasn’t really funny, she sort of liked teasing him.

*Shine*Connor*Shine*: Don’t say my name on here.

PrincessP92: Y? Ur name is on ur username and no one can c anyway! It’s on *Shine*Connor*Shine* Lol

*Shine*Connor*Shine*: What’s so funny?

PrincessP92: Nothing he-he

*Shine*Connor*Shine*: If it’s “nothing” then y r u laughing on here instead of talking on here?

PrincessP92: Idk lol

*Shine*Connor*Shine*: U know what we can talk and you just please stop typing in ur laughter?!

PrincessP92: Ok…

Penelope took her hands off of the keyboard and threw her head back laughing.

*Shine*Connor*Shine*: Ur laughing out loud now aren’t you?

PrincessP92: Yes. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Connor’s POV:

Connor woke up from a nightmare.

He wiped the sweat away and huffed.

“No one laughs at me!” He said getting out of bed quickly.

He walked to his dresser and looked into the mirror.

He sighed.

“I just wish she knew the real me.” Connor said to himself. ‘She CAN!!! I’ll go to her house and proclaim my love for her!!!!!!!!’

He dressed quickly that day with a large grin plastered onto his face.

He styled his hair after combing it and slipped on his green Nikes. When he was finally done he headed downstairs.

His mother was cooking breakfast in the enormous kitchen.

He smelt bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausage and he would have smelt his mothers perfume too like he does every morning but the smell of the food was so overwhelming he just couldn’t.

Connor walked over to his mother and wrapped his arms around her and hugged her.

“Hey, you’re awake!” His mother said turning him around and hugging him better.

“Yep.” Connor replied with a smile.

“Good morning.” His mother said cheerfully.

“Good morning mom, the food smells good.” He said sitting down at the table.

“Aww, thanks hunny.” She said.

“You’re welcome.” He said sitting at the table.

“So when is your concert hunny?” She asked Connor.

Connor was a pop star if you didn’t know that already, that’s why he hadn’t been video chatting with Penelope. He thought that she would meet him freak out, tell all of her friends and him and Penelope just wouldn’t be able to be together.

Today is the day that he is going to show her who he really is. Up close and personal.
